If you’re looking for your next partner in a petite, smaller package, meet Cassandra – a 7-year-old Off-Track Thoroughbred mare who’s ready to excel with her next rider.
Cass has recently come to our barn as a sale horse and settled in beautifully. She's jumped around successfully with her owner at local schooling shows, confidently jumping 18” and 2’ and even spent last season fox hunting 2nd flight.
This little mare takes her job seriously – we’ve taken her cross country schooling where she happily trotted through the water, up/down banks and over smaller questions with confidence. She’s sensitive and smart, thriving with a rider who wants to build a solid partnership with a quick thinking and athletic mare!
On the flat, Cass is very quiet and soft; improving in the contact daily as she gets stronger. Over fences, she’s genuine and careful and will do best continuing on with a rider who is balanced and quiet. With a bit more polish, she’s going to make someone a seriously fun horse.
Cass is sound with no history of lameness, goes out in a group or happily lives in a stall, and is as easygoing in the barn as they come. She’s not spooky, loves a hack on a loose rein, and trailers like a dream.
