I'm a survivor. I created this page to share my story and help bring awareness about abuse, neglect, rescue and adoption.
scue (Fairlawn, OH) heard about me, they came to get me, and they saved my life! Unfortunately my front left leg was too shattered to fix, and they had to amputate it. I had many other bumps, scrapes and busted toes, but I'm strong and now I'm not in any pain. The fact that I have 3 legs is just something unique about me. I'm super fast... can jump pretty high... and I play just like any other kitten. I purr louder than most and I'm a serious cuddle bug. I hope my story will make more people realize that we all deserve a chance to be happy... and some of us need a second chance. I didn't deserve to be thrown out, but I'm happy to be where I am now, and I want to tell the world that it's not ok to abuse and abandon animals. Throwing an animal out of a car to dispose of it, is cruel and punishable by law! People think it is an easy way out of the responsibility of caring for the animal, and they usually don't care if the animal lives or dies. (My mom says if she ever finds the monster who threw me out onto the highway, there will be a "$ #!t storm." And I believe her.) There are SO many other options! There are many humane societies and no-kill shelters all over the world where you can take/surrender an animal. Also, I want to point out that there are many 4-legged, 3-legged, 1-eyed, blind... UNIQUE... animals looking for homes. If you can commit your heart and your home to a furkid, please consider fostering and/or adopting... we are worth it!
