🐴2024 was a whirlwind of a year, I truly can’t believe it’s over! 🐴
We started off early in the year with some in the barn lessons on the bad weather days, lessons on the nice days, a 4H clinic, and a spring camp. Once the weather broke in March/April we picked up Widows Metal aka Boomer, a Magneticat 2 yr old that I had the chance to spend all year riding. Then we were in full blast lessons and show season! We started the year off at the ARCHA show for the herd work, then followed that with the PCHA Cutting in May. Then in June we went to a 4H Open Show where we brought the whole crew! And then again back to the PCHA Cutting in June and then to the Scott Amos Clinic after that. Then to finish off June, we had a very successful Fun Show at the Fairgrounds with over 30 horses! Then we had our pony camp in July, where we made the best of the heat with our special guests, the farrier, Andy Sutliff and our yoga instructor, Michele Fisher! We also had the opportunity to go work cattle at Jim Mcdonough Cutting Horses, Rockin 352 Ranch and Joe Mastromatto’s a few times this year too. The 4H kids in the barn and the 2 yr old, Widows Metal, had their 4H Round Up and then spent the whole (hot🥵) week at the Schuylkill County Fair. It was definitely a fair week to remember! We had a successful pony camp at the Dalvets in August too! Then we went to the Rick Hayes and Frank Sigala Clinic on Labor Day weekend in Harrisburg. And then in September, while doing lots and lots of lessons after the crazy summer heat, I started Gemma another 2 yr old filly and we had our final show at the fairgrounds and showed at the PCHA Cutting! Then we finished out our show season in October with a quick trip to a 4H show for some ranch classes. And then finished out a very successful cutting season with the Appalachian Circuit Finals! October, November, and December finished up with a bunch of lessons and a bunch of new ponies! Congratulations to Andrew and Kid, Cameron and Yabadaba Cat, Michele Fisher and Peptosisslickandquick, Aubree and Ember, and Gillian and CR Tuff Spratshot! We even ended Dantes the Inferno’s 5K Novice Horse year with Karlene and him winning the weekend at the circuit finals show, Top 5 Senior World Tour , and Top 5 in the Circuit for the 5K Novice Horse NonPro!
This year was definitely a year for the books! Congratulations to all my clients and their achievements this year! I am so eternally grateful for each and every one that has been a part of such a great year! It’s been a crazy one, but a great one with so many new and old horses and friendships! Here’s to 2025 being even better yet! 🎊🎆🥂
