I would watch him chase all kinds of wildlife, this opened up a whole new world for me. This is when I became obsessed with the Komodo Dragon. Wow, what a reptile! Of course, I couldn’t own one, ha ha, but one can only dream right? Instead, I decided to scrap some money together and at the age of 14 I bought my first reptile, an iguana. My parents weren’t too fond of me having reptiles, so it took
some convincing from me so I can keep it. As I got older, I branched out and did research on other kinds of reptiles. I am blessed to say I got to experience owning a variety of them from ball pythons, green tree pythons, red tail boas, hog nose snakes, caiman lizards, peach throat monitors, water monitors, quince monitors, acki monitors, chameleons, tarantulas, tegus, savannah monitors and so on. I learned so much over the years, also had my fare share of heartache when I lost all my animals in a house fire, no fault of our own but due to a faulty wiring job done by the owners of the house prior to us. After taking some time to mend and reflect, I decided to pursue my dream and start up Paradizo’s Geckos. There is a special bond between me and my reptiles, and hope to share this bond with you for many more years to come!
