“One cat just leads to another." – Ernest Hemingway

This quote felt doubly appropriate for a photoshoot of Louis because (1) he is a Hemingway cat* (as is Olivia, since they're polydactyl) and (2) he has the distinction of being my first cat -- the cat that has fully turned me into a cat lady after growing up with beloved pups.

Olivia is an integral part of our home for many reasons, not least of which is that she is a devoted and self-appointed little helper. Carrying laundry? She's guiding the way, conveniently hidden under the basket where you can't quite see her. Making dinner? She's patiently waiting two inches behind you to offer her taste testing abilities. 😹😻⁠
