✨Lesson Horse Spotlight✨
Over the next 7 days we will be introducing our superstar lesson horses!
Let us introduce you to Boxford Bulls & Bears also known as Bear!
Bear is 23 years young! Bear has been with us for the past 6 years and helped start up our lesson program. Bear loves to drive the cart and shares that with most of our students during kids nights or anytime we need to teach a beginner to drive in the cart! Bear has started most of our riders in the saddle as well and has shown them what it feels like to ride a show horse with his fancy fun trot! He has taken kids all the way to their first victory passes at shows. Bear is the back bone to our lesson program and is always there when we need him in good and bad times!
Bear also loves to get treats after his lessons and usually once you are done grooming him, he will start nickering and stand as tall as he can, with the cutest face until you give him one! He also loves his toy lick its, almost every flavor! He is grateful that one of our students brings him new ones regularly 🥰
Besides teaching lessons, he also loves dressing up in silly costumes for our home shows, getting his hooves painted, ba****ck rides and doing pretty much anything our students come up with!
Above all he did the most memorable and honorable job in 2021. By carrying the casket of one of our own Marine Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo’s to her final resting spot. Thank you for your service 🇺🇸
I don’t know what we would do without this special unicorn 🦄
Fun Fact: Bear was the 2005 Grand National Champion in the 4 yr old Park Harness class at Morgan Grand Nationals.
