Congratulations to Lola, our September Pet of the Month.

Lola loves to sleep late in the morning. She loves to go for walks, especially on the beach. She loves chasing squirrels even though she has never actually caught one. She loves treats and chewing on bones. She loves her family, including Copper and Remi, her English setter sisters. Her owners were fortunate to find Lola at the Humane Society in Pinellas County, Florida, when our daughter Sierra was a volunteer there in 2014.

FOUND: Male hound found by county police at the intersection of McArdle and Townline road in Tawas City. He is very friendly, but has had a run-in with a porcupine. He will undergo quill removal and then will be relocating to the Iosco Humane Society. If you know who he belongs to, please contact the shelter at 989-362-3170.

As summer comes to a close, we’re excited to celebrate the hard work of our fantastic high school summer workers, Catherine Jones and Ben Harrison. 🎉 Catherine, a rising senior, and Ben, a sophomore, have been absolute stars here at Tawas Animal Hospital.
