HAPPY NATIONAL DAY OF THE COWGIRL

Today is about cowgirls. Both cowboys and girls make an impact on the western lifestyle but this post is what the western lifestyle is to me. (PSA this is sort of a soppy post)

The western lifestyle to me is more than wearing boots, riding horses, and winning a shinny new buckle. The western lifestyle is just that a lifestyle in and out of the arena you are a leader. A Teammate. Family. Hero. Idol. Teacher. Trainer. Coach. Friend. Mentor. Trailblazer. It is so much more, not only to the upcoming generations, but to old generations as well. Being part of the western lifestyle means helping your neighbors. Herding cattle, doctoring cattle, horses, goats and even donkeys! People recognize you out of the arena and they look up to you. Along with being a rodeo queen in my career I am a trainer and a coach. There are so many people out there who don’t know how to ride a horse let alone take care of one. I love to teach people and that’s why I offer lessons and train horses. I love seeing the progress that people make. During my rodeo queen journey my favorite part was watching cowgirls and cowboys make a difference! There will be times that make you want to give up, I mean I broke my pelvis and couldn’t ride for months. People thought I’d never get back on. (Okay no one doubted that I would be back on as soon as I could, but they hoped!) and admittedly enough I do still have personal problems when riding due to that. But it won’t stop me and nothing should stop anyone from pursuing your dreams of ranching, riding, or just owning a horse. Be cowgirl tough and swing your leg over one more time.

Happy National day of the cowgirl to not only all the cowgirls out there but to the aspiring cowgirls and to the new riders who just took their first lesson and fell in love.

MLLTEquestrian is open for BOARDING!

Located at 275 Palm Beach Rd in Dickinson ND!

MLLTEquestrian will be teaching lessons, holding clinics, taking in consignment and training horses at this location!

We currently have 6 stalls readily available, these are all larger runs and can hold 2 horses each for a shared pen price!

Included in board- blanketing, hay and feeding, use of tack room (tack room is under construction and will soon be finished!), stalls being cleaned, clean water, use of arena.
Extra fees for grain, daily turnout, and trailer parking-contact for details!

$400 /month for single horse in stall
$350 /month for the first horse
$300 /month for 2nd + horses!
$15/night - DOES NOT INCLUDE HAY
$6/bale for hay for over nighters!

I will be teaching in Mandan on August 31st 2024! I have room for 6 riders, as well as coming to you. Pm me for more details! I have experience in barrel racing, jumping, dressage, and trail/pleasure riding. Lesson price is $60/lesson. I can possibly bring a school horse with me, if needed!

He was very un amuzed today his face says it all!
Lots of grooming, saddled and little massage now he’s being a fat and happy pony eating his dinner.

He’s going to be an easy horse, definitely going to be Ammy friendly with how calm and sweet he is. He is all try and in your pocket!

Lil Miss is coming along so well! She is skittish and scared of things but very curious and wants to learn. This week we learned she likes dogs, and likes neck scratches, her hay is the best thing in the world(she needs a diet and some boot camp exercise!) and that she loves berry flavored treats!
