So I recently reached out to the adoption team and I was so surprised to hear that Ryder does not have any potential adopters yet. He is a cool horse with so much potential to do so many things. I think he would do well at ranch horse shows, competitive obstacles, Texas trail challenges, competitive trail, weekend relaxing trail riding, western dressage, and many other things. He has a great personality, very much a love bug, he is the first to greet you in the pasture and he is a fun horse to ride under saddle. He is also a middle-bottom of the herd guy and gets along well with other horses. While I don't think he would be good for a child, he can be pushy on the ground and needs a leader, he has been excellent under saddle and doesn't do anything silly, and I think for an adult novice he would be awesome! He also is very well behaved for the farrier, stands for bathing and for the most part is a pretty good guy. For those of you looking to adopt, please consider this guy, for anyone following that knows anyone that is looking to adopt, please share info about Ryder with them. I would love to see him in a forever home with a riding partner. I am happy to answer any questions about him as well :-)
