7 weeks old!! I will miss them so much but each of them is going to a wonderful home and I am so excited about that! They got a good report at their 7 week vet appointment! They are doing great with “come”, sitting to ask for a treat or extra attention (instead of jumping up or biting), and they learned “down” this week!

Our Story

Our goal at Paw-metto Puppies is to do limited breeding with the purpose of providing excellent puppies that are true to the English Yellow Labrador breed. The English lab has a stockier build, is shorter with a chunky or blocky head and beaver tail. The puppies will fill out during their first 2 years. The English lab is less active than the American lab but enjoys playing and retrieving. Labs are easy to train, love attention and want to please, therefore they make an excellent choice as a family dog or companion. Please know that labs do shed so if you have not had the breed before, study up on their shedding habits, especially if this will be an indoor dog for you.

My husband and I grew up with dogs in our homes. After having 3 children, we decided to choose a breed of dog that was very social and would be a good fit for our young family. The English Labrador Retriever has been an excellent choice because of its natural desire to please and its more laid back temperament. Safi, our female, learned very quickly her role in our home and has been a constant loving companion for our 3 small children.

Safi is one of Selah's puppies from her second litter. She is a full English Yellow Labrador. She is a very loving and patient dog, with a very laid back personality. We bred her with Grand Champion Sired Diablo of Hollow Acres the end of June 2020 and she had 8 healthy puppies August 28th!

Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks. They will have age appropriate vet checks, shots, and deworming.
