Well today was the day.. Mr Duke went home to his new family! It’s never easy sending these guys off to their new homes but Duke was a little different.. after spending so much one on one time with him it was very hard to let him go. He definitely has a one of a kind personality just like his daddy Charlie. We’re so glad he went to an awesome couple that has a previous puppy of ours. We think they’re gonna be the best of buds!

Mr Duke is doing great, he started on puppy food this week which he’s not very interested in being the only pup on his momma 😂. He loves playing with the big dogs, especially his dad Charlie.

Mr. Butterball aka “Duke” has been doing great! He’s been gaining a lot of weight and Ember has been keeping him spotless. Ember has dried up a lot which we’re thankful for, we definitely didn’t want to deal with mastitis. She’s been taking great care of Duke and is always by his side.

Although this wasn’t what we were expecting or wanting… Ember had 2 sweet babies last night after being in labor for about 8 hours. She had one big healthy boy and one little girl that ended up being stillborn.

After having the vet over this morning she thinks this was just a very small litter for her. We will be watching Ember and her sweet baby boy very closely over the next few days.
