Tuesday Update:

We are all happy to share that we are continuing to schedule appointments to see our patients in our temporary office and we are also very excited to share that it is also now handicapped accessible.

Thank you everyone for all the continued support!

Sunday March 24th Update:

We are happy to announce that we are currently accepting appointments with our clients for wellness visits only. Our temporary facility is up and running at the back of our original building, which is still undergoing construction and repairs after the unfortunate events earlier this month.

At this time, our temporary facility can only handle one client/family at a time. With this in mind, please call or knock before entering, to prevent an escape opportunity, for our feline friends especially, or scaring any pets that may be inside when you arrive.

Please call ahead for prescription refills so that we can get them ready and we will return your call when they are ready for pick up.

We appreciate our clients and community with their continued support and patience as we navigate these new challenges.

To book your appointment please call our office at (978) 939-8348.

Thank you,

Dr. Cheryl Ann Nygard and Staff

Monday Update:

Dear Family, Friends, Clients, and Followers,

I am so grateful and touched by the outpouring of support that has been shown this past week.

Many people have asked how they could help us in this time and I've been speechless with the amount of support. I am excited to share that a member of the community has opened up a GoFundMe page for us so that those who choose to donate to help support us during this incredibly stressful time will be able to.

Here is the link to the page, https://gofund.me/9337bc89

These funds will help us be able to serve our clients and patients again much sooner by allowing us to obtain crucial supplies and the necessities needed to operate out of our new temporary space. Our temporary space is a modified small shipping container intended to be our joint examination room, laboratory, and office space which is a less than ideal solution for our staff and patients alike, limiting the amount of people and patients we can have in this area at one time.

The current projection is that it's going to a little while before the clinic is back in full operating form.

Again, thank you all for the outpouring of support in these times.

Dear Family, Friends, Clients, and Followers,

The dust has begun to settle from last Tuesday night and I wanted to give everybody an update.

First of all I want to thank the Templeton Police & Fire Departments for their quick response to the scene and for the compassion they showed my family and I late Tuesday night following the accident. Also I would like to thank the Building Inspector for coming out late that night for an inspection and offering his help to close and secure the gaping hole in the front of the clinic.

I would like to share a short story that highlights some of the benefits of living in a small town...

Late Tuesday night / early Wednesday morning, a local businessman/farmer contacted C.M. Chartier Contracting to let him know what had happened to my building. When I arrived to the clinic Wednesday morning I found C.M. Chartier's business card on my front door with a note saying, "Just wondered if you need help with repair." Of course I called, and within 10 minutes he was there. Immediately thereafter C.M. Chartier got the ball rolling on the repairs needed and it hasn't stopped. I am so thankful for his swift response and the respectful and professional job that he is doing so far. His crew is hard working, extremely helpful, and respectful as well.

We have a new and temporary "office," in the back of the building. Once electrical and communication services are connected I am that much closer to being able to care for my patients. However we are still waiting on equipment deliveries to replace what was destroyed.

Patient parking will be in the rear of the building until further notice. Please call us at (978) 939-8348 before trying to enter the trailer / office. Call for prescription and food refills, and we will call you back to let you know when they are ready for pick up.

At this time we are only able to accept cash and checks for payment. Our credit processing system is still down.

Thanks for all the positive comments and help from family and friends, you know who you are, we have made a lot of progress so far.

I am looking forward to seeing you all soon and I will be providing more updates.

Dear Family, Friends, Clients, and Followers,

On late Tuesday evening (March 12, 2024) we experienced an emergency at the clinic resulting in significant property damage. In short, a car drove through the fence and into the front of our office causing severe damage to our front office, laboratory, inventory and record storage areas; amongst numerous other damages. We are just beginning to "pick up the pieces" and in the very early stages of navigating the situation at hand.

This is a very difficult time for our Vet Clinic family as we navigate through this challenge, during this time we will be closed until further notice. I aim to be able to serve our clients as soon as possible, but please understand the circumstances we are facing at this time.

Fortunately no staff or patients were at the clinic when this emergency occurred, and we are very thankful that our clinic pets were safe from harm during the incident.

Our current landline system is down
If you need to contact the clinic. Please call or text (978) 939-3974 and we will get back to you when we are able. Most likely next week.

We will update you all as soon as we have more information.

If you have an animal emergency please contact V.E.S.H. at (413) 665-4911 or Westford at (978) 577-6525 or W.A.H.P.R. at (978) 874-4100
