Classy is figuring it out....
Classy has learned a lot under the guidance of Jessica Kiser's program at JFK Training in Ridgefield, WA. I look forward to bringing her home at the end of this month to continue her ground work and under-saddle schooling. Thank you, Jessica!
Classy In Training at JFK Training With Jessica Kiser
This is the third and final video taken on March 6. Classy is warmed up and learning to step up some (walk a little faster). She is also learning to accept leg pressure and wear the bit while her rider is directing her with the reins. (Each time Classy came around that circle she would look at me and want to head my way. Such a sweet girl. I love this horse!)
Splash Of Class - Tennessee Walking Horse Mare
Splash Of Class is in school! She is doing well with her under-saddle training at JFK Training/Jessica Kiser in Ridgefield, WA. This is Classy warming up for a quick spin in the arena.
Another happy "glide ride"...
A beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest for a Tennessee Walker "glide ride". Thank you to Sherry Bachmann on her "Star" for sending me this short video clip. In the distance is Roxy Kinnaman on her new filly, "Lily"; Stacie Mower on her gelding, "Cooper"; Rob Keyser on "Rosie"; and, me on my "Tess". A fun time on five good horses all bred and proudly raised at Swinging Gait Ranch.
PRICE REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE: $2750
GEN'S TOUCH OF SMOKE, aka, "Missoula". Registered 6-year old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding that will make an excellent project horse for the knowledgeable and experienced horse person. He was started under saddle a few years ago and earned some real-time experience on both western and eastern Washington trails. He began a "refresher course" of under-saddle training in 2017. Missoula can be a bit timid but does pretty well as long as he rides with another horse and isn't expected to be the lead horse on trail rides. He was on overnight camping trips with his former owners and will pony, pack (which may be a reason he doesn't like to be in front?), picket and highline. He shows some flatshod show level talent so could be better suited as a horse show prospect under the continued guidance of a professional trainer or an accomplished amateur rider. If interested or if you'd like to make an appointment to meet Missoula, call Rob Keyser in Littlerock, WA. Telephone: 360-701-1635. (NOTE: Price was formerly posted at $4,500.)
2017 Stud Colt: Ruby X Beamer
BEAMER'S first offspring! Is that a heart on the colt's forehead? Maybe Grandsire "Design To Love" sent a bit of lovin' from the other side of the rainbow bridge.... "Bustin Loose In Red" X "A Silver Sensation" stud colt. Colt is two-weeks old in this video. Foaling date: June 4, 2017.
6/15/2017 Rosie - 1st Ride
Thursday, June 15, 2017: Rosie's first time being ridden. I'm thinking she did really good! Well done, Rob!
SHEZA AMBLIN ROSE - TWH Filly
FOR SALE: SHEZA AMBLIN ROSE
TWHBEA Registration #21402407
PRICE: $4,500 - Includes 30-Days Under-Saddle Training
Yippeee! Rosie started her under-saddle training with Rob Keyser and Stacie Mower late last week. Our decision to put Rosie with Rob and Stacie in December of 2015 for ground work was a good one. (Here is a youtube video link of what Rosie learned with them at 17-months old: https://youtu.be/06wvS3QppwM.) She has retained most all that she learned back then and is already wearing her first set of shoes and being ponied out on the trails with the "big boys". What follows is a video that shows a little bit of that first experience. The horse that Rob is riding is "Mac", also for sale. His ad appears on this page as well. I will occasionally post updates to Rosie's training. She can be purchased at any time. Private message me with questions or call Rob directly at 360-701-1635 if you would like to meet Rosie (and Mac too!) in person.
Riding Scattercreek 11/22/2015
Feeling Blessed..... Good friends enjoying another beautiful but cold fall day on horseback: Rob on his 3-year old TWH stallion, "Spot On", as he ponies Lucy's 3-year old TWH gelding,"Sonny"; Stacie riding her talented 5-year old TWH gelding, "Designer Cash", aka Cooper; and me riding my head-shaking 4-year old TWH filly, "Silver Contessa", aka Tess. Please pardon the "raw" video, including the shaky camera, et al......
