Classy has learned a lot under the guidance of Jessica Kiser's program at JFK Training in Ridgefield, WA. I look forward to bringing her home at the end of this month to continue her ground work and under-saddle schooling. Thank you, Jessica!

This is the third and final video taken on March 6. Classy is warmed up and learning to step up some (walk a little faster). She is also learning to accept leg pressure and wear the bit while her rider is directing her with the reins. (Each time Classy came around that circle she would look at me and want to head my way. Such a sweet girl. I love this horse!)

Splash Of Class is a 3-year old Tobiano Tennessee Walking Horse filly, ready to start under saddle. She is a tall girl, standing close to 15.3 or 16HH. She was beautiful this summer, with big dapples in her palomino coat. SPLASH OF CLASS, registered TWH 2-year old filly. This young lady has experienced a lot in the past week, including riding in a trailer; working in a round pen; being ground driven; learning how to wear a headstall with bit plus a saddle; standing tied to be mounted, etc. She is 15.2 hands high of elegant sweetness with more growing to do. Heads-up to horse owners who worm with ivermectin paste. Be extra cautious that your dogs can't get to any product (even the smallest amount!) dropped out of a horse's mouth and/or dispose of the tube where dogs can't get to it. 1.87% ivermectin can kill within a matter of hours or days. Herding breeds are especially susceptible--many inherit a specific mutated gene (MDR1) that allows the drug/poison to break through the blood/brain barrier. Exposed dogs will need immediate veterinary care. Be aware and take care......

(UPDATE: As of a few months ago, my "Beamer" is now a treasured gelding. My decision to geld him was not made without a LOT of thought. Beamer was always a perfect gentleman as a stallion but it was time for me to change my priorities. I'm looking forward to seeing local friends out on the trail with him, soon.)

CONGRATULATIONS to Roxy Kinnaman, on her purchase of DESIGNED TO SHINE, aka "Honey", a coming 3-year old Tennessee Walking Horse filly by Golden Paradigm, a son of Design To Love, and out of an Oly Smokes bred mare, Sonic's Limited Edition. My 2017 equine youngsters. Palomino and white filly born May 1; black stud c**t born June 4. Both "Design To Love" descendants. They are about a month apart in age and the filly is half again as large as the c**t--gonna be a big girl!

Yippeee! Rosie started her under-saddle training with Rob Keyser and Stacie Mower late last week. Our decision to put Rosie with Rob and Stacie in December of 2015 for ground work was a good one. She has retained most all that she learned back then and is already wearing her first set of shoes and being ponied out on the trails with the "big boys". Our newest little Tennessee Walking Horse filly. We waited 364 days for this pretty girl and she finally arrived on May 1, 2017. Her mama is Designing Diva and she is sired by Spot On. It is difficult to fault this girl. She has a pretty head, nice markings, straight front legs and overall nice confirmation. And, her color.... look at that color!!!

Our pastures are wet and the wind is howling but our Amblin' Rose manages to graze without a care. She's going to be a busy 3-year old in a few months. Just about time to get her started under-saddle. She will definitely enjoy "training camp"! (PS: She is for sale.)
