If love cats please read.. long but good educational advice.

Got stray cats in you neighborhood? Read this post.
Since Monday, we've had repeated calls to take feral cats as good Samaritans trapped these animals to get them out of the cold in an attempt to give them a better life, perhaps in the spirit of the holiday. While we applaud their compassion, we need to educate the general public and therefore repeat one of our most powerful posts:
Let's make this ABSOLUTELY clear: FERALS HAVE NOWHERE TO GO!
🚫 There are NO SANCTUARIES.
🚫 There are TOO FEW BARN HOMES.
🚫 They are NOT ADOPTABLE.
🚫 They CANNOT BE TURNED IN TO A SHELTER; they will be EUTHANIZED!
LEAVE THAT CAT IN ITS TERRITORY! 🐾
We were contacted by a caring good Samaritan who had been feeding a tabby in her yard since summer. Within the past few weeks, a black and white kitty showed up as well. Now that freezing temperatures have arrived, the good Samaritan wanted these feral cats TNRed and brought indoors/adopted immediately. IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY!
⚠️ DO NOT WAIT if you see kittens/cats in your community!
The black & white kitty turned out to be 14 weeks old; had he been rescued when he was first spotted months ago, he'd be someone's indoor cat right now. The tabby was 11 months old and had already experienced it's first winter. Both of these cats are unsocialized and therefore unadoptable; there is nowhere for them to go but back outside to their home territory. NO RESCUE is going to take a feral cat, and NO ADOPTER is going to want a cat that literally bounces off walls and climbs the curtains. This makes the good Samaritan unhappy, but it's reality. The good Samaritan has now been educated and will contact us sooner the next time a community cat crosses her path.
🚨 EDUCATE! Act swiftly on kittens, TNR ferals. ZERO DELAYS! 🚨
We must educate others that they cannot wait when they see a litter of kittens in their midst or an intact feral crossing their path. Rescue the kittens; TNR the ferals. The clock is ticking—don't delay to take action to give these animals a better life and keep the community cat population in check. 🐾💪
➡️IMPORTANT NOTE: A feral cat MAY be socialized with patience and over time IF the cat is willing; we have socialized plenty over the years. We are talking about the good Samaritan's expectation that the cat should be immediately adopted. This is an UNREALISTIC EXPECTATION.

We are now done with our last Christmas 🎄 groom.
We will be closed the next two days. We will return back on Friday the 27th

I would like to thank Bowlero for setting up a Spot for my staff to have a little Friendsgiving.
It was a nice night for my staff to throw some bowling 🎳 balls down at the pins. No work talk, no work nadda. Just my girls and plus ones to have a good time.

Folks were slowly getting to where we wanna be. It’s taking us 3 months to get right where we wanna be.
We truly feel like this is our little slice of home away from home. The comfort we feel being in a much smaller place makes it even better. We definitely feel much closer than we did at our much bigger building.

I think many customers in the past week don’t realize we are NOT Pawsabilities. However we love your hospitality and sweet words of encouragement . By 2025 we will be 100%.

If you are not on the schedule this year I apologize in advance, but we don’t want to stay till 10pm like we did last two years.

We will be closed Thanksgiving and Black Friday. My groomers need some family time as well bonus they get shopping time too.

I will not do like I did the last 2 years. I will be closing normal business hours on the 27th. If you do not have an appointment and you call asking you will be told we are sorry.

If you don’t have an appointment PLEASE call and get on the schedule.

Jackie is back from baby vacation. Jackie’s regulars will be so happy! Get her booked up as she’s going to be out again for out of town vacation.

If I’m not mistaken this is a client we referred to snip. I love SNIP- Spay & Neuter Initiative Program and send many of our clients to them. If you recognize this petty thief please reach out to myself or to Tiffany and let them know you know who this lowlife is. This is a low cost spay & neuter clinic that does so much more.

Let’s find sticky fingers and show him we don’t tolerate this type of behavior.

Guess What?!

We know it’s EARLY, but we get to share a sneak peek of the new Sid’s Grooming. We got the last inspection today. I am going to officially open Wednesday. We are thankful for your patience and understanding. We will start to return the calls over last few days while we were close. ❤️🐾❤️
