horse related...learn basic care, breeds, colors, etc. to other things such as reining, western pleasure, basic jumping, trail riding, speed events ...you want me to cover something just ask we can probably do it! We currently have 40-50 horses of all different ages, breeds, etc. which will help you or your child to get a feel for differences between horses. Most of my lessons are private, one on one. I believe it is a lot easier and more efficient to focus on one student at a time...so yes your session is all about you. My lessons go from 1-3hours. Prices vary based on location and length of lesson. I've already had multiple parents tell me that they love this program, Not only does it satisfy their child's desire for our equine friends, but it gives the children the ability to work with, care, ride, and learn about horses without you as a parent having to pay for the daily expenses and care of a horse...not to mention finding the land to keep one! There is nothing I love more than seeing my students light up when they get around the horses! Riding Lesson Prices:
$40-70 price varies upon age, and level. kids 5 and under $40 an hour. Beginner Lessons $50 an hour, Intermediate $60 an hour, Special Topics $70 an hour. Will travel to areas upon request, please ask for a quote. Discounts are available for multiple lessons a week. Discounts for group lessons of 3 or more. Besides our riding lessons, we occasionally take in rescues and help find them new homes, we train horses, offer trail rides and offer horse camps and horse boarding. Trail Rides:
$70 for ages 18 up, $60 for 12 and up, $50 for 11 and under. This is for the average trail ride up to two hours. Each additional hour is $10 per person
Must be an adult per 2 kids. No age refused but must be able to steer horse in order to ride alone. Dutch oven dinners may also be available for an additional price. Please call and make reservations. And arrive 10 minutes early so we can adjust stirrups and match you with the horse best suited for you. Horse Training:
I charge $200 a week per horse or $500-$700 (depending on the weekly training schedule) a
month. It is $300 a month or $70 a week for
board with hay. . Inquire for further details. And

What we offer:
Lessons, Trail Rides, Horse Training, Boarding, and Stud Services. We also do occasionally take in rescues when we have funding to do so and room. And if we aren’t able to assist, we can certainly aid in giving you direction to another rescue who can.

We go over anything horse related...learn basic care, breeds, colors, grooming, tacking, parts of tack and horses, types of events, such as reining, western pleasure, basic beginner jumping, trail riding, speed events, etc ...you want me to cover something just ask we can probably do it! We currently have 25-30 horses of all different ages, breeds, etc. which will help you or your child to get a feel for differences between horses. All my lessons, first of all are private, one on one. It is a lot easier and more efficient to focus on one student at a time. They learn quicker when I am able to focus all my attention on them instead of several students. Only around the Holidays, for trail rides, and for extra practice for shows, do we sometimes do group lessons. My lessons go from 1-3hours. You pick, prices vary based on location (I in some situations can travel to you and your horse) and length of lesson. Trail Rides start at 2hrs and go up from there. Please make sure to plan ahead! I recommend at least two weeks out or more, if possible, since days can fill up quickly. And like with all equine activities, please wear jeans, and boots. Closed toed shoes are required to be around the horses. And all children under the age of 18 are required to wear a helmet. Rides are scenic and truly breathtaking, but don’t take my word for it, come and see for yourself, and bring your friends and family for a great experience!
Horse Training...I’ve been blessed to work with some great trainers over the years (both horses and people) and have learned much over the years growing up around horses. Though my beginnings with horses were humble, I eagerly soaked up any and all information I could get my hands on, attended clinics, equine colleges, and worked with several different trainers and barns through the years before deciding to dive in doing this not only for myself, but for others. I’m always learning, and taking information and growing from it to better myself and the horses I train. I like a slow and steady approach. Each horse is an individual and learns in their own way and time. Rushing usually leaves holes in training, or uses tactics that get quick results but the horse really hasn’t learned, but more or less been scared into doing a job. I prefer to use positive and negative reinforcement combined. I want the horse to Want and Enjoy working. I need it to be a mind stimulating and engaging activity that the horse will want to come back to. I’ve found that positive reinforcement, used correctly, helps the horse retain information and try! But unfortunately takes a long time just by itself. So paired together with the negative reinforcements, I get the benefits of positive reinforcements in a little more timely manner. If you need a horse tuned up, started, etc, let us know and we can talk more and you and your horses needs and goals.
Boarding...We are located on 16 gorgeous acres up in Mink Creek, Idaho. With an additional 40 that we lease. We are surrounded by mountains, trees, wide open spaces, creeks, and all kinds of wild life. Truly a little piece of paradise, and though we may be a bit out of the way, the scenic drive, being out with nature in the mountains, and enjoying the homey feeling a barn yard offers makes it all worth it! Your horses are looked after with the uttermost care, and treated as if they were my own. We have trails right off property, round pen on site, and an outdoor area often used as an arena in the summer. One of our projects is to build an indoor arena and couple stall barn, but we are currently redoing all our fencing first ( the horses chew the wood too much... no fun to replace that often). Separate pens or herd turn out are currently available at this time until our barn is built. We can blanket and grain horses. Prices vary on each horses needs and living arrangements. Stallions... While I personally don’t do a foal crop every year with my own horses, I do pride myself in my stallions (and mares). I look for good conformation, athletic, sound and willing minds, with a good pedigree, and any color as a bonus. We currently have a Homozygous cream (cremello or perlino) miniature stallion, named Magic Mist Charismatic Chrome, and bay (brown phenotype...looks black) semi leopard Appaloosa stallion Chief Hap Hap. And in a few Years will have our new buckskin homozygous Appaloosa stallion Waps Tomahawk. Inquire for more information about each of them and how to book your mare for a great breeding season!
NOTE: Due to large amounts of scheduling, and out of courtesy to Equine Harmony staff and their family, if you schedule/pay for an event or lessons, it is non-refundable. No exceptions can be made due to our having to arrange time and expend resources on supplies which is difficult if not impossible to reallocate. Please plan accordingly when scheduling.
