3 ingredient Frozen Blueberry Banana Pops
🫐🍌🫐🍌🫐🍌🫐🍌🫐🍌🫐🍌🫐🍌🫐

¾ cup blueberries
¾ cup PLAIN greek yogurt low fat preferably
½ banana, ripe

Add all ingredients into a blender or food processor. Blend until fully incorporated, about 90 seconds.

Pour into molds or ice cube trays
Freeze until solid, about 5 hours.

DON’T FORCE ME TO BE SOCIAL!
Do we like everyone we meet? Do we all enjoy socialising and spending time with lots of different people? I certainly don’t and refer to myself as a “caninetrovert” – a person that much prefers to spend time with dogs rather than people. Maybe I’m a little different to the “norm”, but be that as it may, we are all individuals with different personality styles and social preferences.

Some of us are extroverts, gaining energy from interacting with people; some of us introverts, who find people draining and need alone time to recharge our social batteries and some of us are somewhere in between.

If we acknowledge that we are all different in this way, we also need to acknowledge and accept that our dogs are similar.

They could be overly affectionate or fiercely independent, approachable or nervous, energetic or laid back, confident or cautious, sociable, tolerant, selective or reactive.

We may be really disappointed when our dogs turn out not to be the socialite we expected them to be.

Some may even see this as a behaviour problem that needs to be “fixed”. Sometimes it can be improved, especially if the cause is from a negative experience, but genetics, breed tendencies, individual personalities, health and age all contribute to tolerance levels and sociability.

Accept your dog for who they are, allow them to choose whether they want to be sociable or not, respect their choices and never force an interaction that your dog is not comfortable with.

The "Betty White Challenge," today Jan. 17, on what would've been the TV icon's 100th birthday encourages people to donate $5 (or more) to animal rescues or shelters in her name! 💗🥳

When Betty White, one of the most beloved, unifying, and charming public figures in America, passed away on Dec. 31, 2021, Americans scrambled for ways to honor the Golden Girl. She was a huge animal advocate!! A lasting homage is to donate to her favorite cause: animal welfare.

I currently have 2 puppies in fostercare who are completing their puppy vaccination rounds, and have upcoming neuter appts in Feb. And of course there is always a need for pet food, which is often shared in our community. No pet should go hungry…

What are the 5 types of supervision? 🤔We believe that only Only two types, active and proactive, truly set your dogs and young children up for success. Active and proactive supervision are essential in building safer bonds together.

What can you do at night while sleeping? This is "absent supervision." The best thing for this is to be sure your family dog is secure in a success station, like a crate, or gate (one the dog will not be able to figure a way out of), or secure tether.

It always helps to prepare with your dog and practice for months with success stations before they are needed. Trust us!! You will thank us later!!!
