Well, in spite of the heat,and rain chances,we managed to get
6 blueberry bushes,5 blackberry bushes,4 pineapple guava plants,and a few perennial plants planted the last couple days.
Have a number of other fruit trees and plants to get in,but that will be another day.

Yes,I am posting alot about the garden we have been working on. It will be a very important part of what we do,and we are very proud of it.

Well,we got more topsoil and potting soil yesterday. Filling more tires today. Fortunately we have a great landscape supplier close with good prices. Dawes Grass Farm.

More pics of the garden. Cayans,jalapeños, bannana peppers,pumpkin,squash,zucchini, snap peas,and watermelon. Lots of okra going in to prepped this week.More plants going in as soon more tires are filled!

Getting the new garden started with soil. Trailer is loaded with top soil and potting soil,bags have compost and manure,all mixed in equal parts. We began planting cayan peppers,and snap peas(planted in tires with the trellis). Next in are jalapeños and banana peppers. More to go in as we get tires filled.

New addition to Tortuga Farm. 10x20 with dual 8ft lofts. Will be the new location for the freezers,refrigerators,and storage for the canning part of the business.

We are in the process of making some major changes,adding new products,and we will be removing other products that will not work with the direction we are going.

For anyone local who is interested, Tortuga Farm and Crafts will be on Dauphin Island this Saturday at the Market in Green Park 9 to 5.
