Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary, Inc. Miss Kitty Feline Sanctuary, Inc. is an official 501(c)3 cat rescue located in Thomasville, Ga.

We are a not-for-profit, volunteer-operated no-kill / no-cage kitten and cat rescue. We are a volunteer-run cat rescue organization in Thomasville Georgia. Our goals are to promote the welfare of all cats, operate a model no-kill rescue and adoption program that can be emulated throughout the country, practice spaying/neutering before adoption, promote the early-age spay/neuter of kittens at six t

o eight weeks old, assist groups and individuals to help rescue and place cats, assist caretakers with cat behavioral problems so that cats remain in their homes instead of being relinquished, help to promote a better understanding of feline diseases such as feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, keep cats out of the sheltering system, advocate the sterilization of feral colony cats and provide information to colony caretakers on all aspects of Trap-Neuter-Return.

Another week at the cat house! We had a great Saturday with HOTC volunteers and the Lowe’s Team worked hard to help us pressure wash the catios, trim hedges, and paint door trim!

Wowza! 🤩 Big shoutout to Wiregrass Electric for donating their time and talent to help us upgrade our lighting! Their team came in, evaluated everything, and gave us a quote we couldn’t refuse.

They replaced lights throughout the building with bright, energy-efficient LEDs—and TBH, we were a little scared to see what better lighting might reveal 😅

🌟 Once in a lifetime, the stars align… 🌟

For the past 8 years, Tiger Lily—our sassy little hand grenade—ruled the Miss Kitty office with her sharp wit, sharper claws, and a purr that said “you may approach... carefully.” After undergoing double luxating patella surgery as a kitten, she stayed close so we could monitor her recovery. She teased visitors with meows, accepted a few cautious pets, and reminded us all that boundaries are very real.

But then came Jonathan.
He didn’t flinch at her sass, didn’t mind her overstimulation quirks, and somehow—somehow—they matched. The way she took to him, we knew: Tiger Lily had chosen her person.
Now, she’s living the good life as a home office supervisor, professional couch potato, and fully retired diva—with her own human at last. 🛋️🐾

We’ll miss her antics, her attitude, and her adorable little face. But our hearts are full knowing Tiger Lily is finally home.
