There are no words for the crushing goodbye. You were a mama, a teacher, a friend, a unicorn. Taking your little Talia from learning to ride her very own first pony, to the rated levels of horse showing. Then taking Gannen to his first leadline in the iconic Dixon Oval at Devon. You had a most loving, devoted, caring family. How wonderful to be so loved. Goodbye is always hard, but this time was devastating. Your family, and your Shady Dell family, are heartbroken. We will cherish all of our wonderful memories, your ‘Nice and Easy’ smile, your smarts and your mare sass. To say you were the barn favorite is an understatement. May you rest in glory, our one and only, Queen B.
Day 2:
We had so much fun @brassringhorseshows! Our students pushed through the oppressive heat and downpours to deliver impressive performances. Abby and Ryan had 2 strong divisions in the Pleasure Horse and Low Hunters. Talia and Worthy had a blast in the Green Horse division, placing 3rd & 6th over fences and 3rd on the flat. Leah was grand champion in the Junior Equitation division, won the Brass Ring Medal Finals, and was the Best Child Rider on Horse for the show! We are so proud of all our students and grateful to their ever supportive parents and families. Show days are hard work, long days, difficult moments, but always rewarding. Good people, good horses, good times, and great memories. And we cannot achieve these goals without our incomparable instructor/trainer, Sara Henry. Her extensive knowledge, experience, guidance, and dedication shines through each and every one of her students.
