We wanted to let everyone know that we will have regular hours Monday the 24th - Wednesday the 26th and we will be closed on Thursday the 27th and Friday the 28th for the holiday 🦃

Dory's Story: The Importance of Microchips

Dory had been missing since July from Central Florida; her family was preparing for a move when she got scared and ran out of the house. Her family flew back to the area from Virginia looking for her multiple times with no luck. It was a heartbreaking situation for them.

Little did they know she's been safe and well cared for the entire time! Dory wandered up to a home where other cats were being fed, and a family member who lives in Pavo, Georgia took her in. Dory was not a fan of being in a home with other cats, so they brought Dory in to discuss behavior issues with Dr. Barrett. During the appointment, we found out she was microchipped and were able to call her family and give them the good news! Dory's owners were so happy and could not believe she was found after all this time.

This wouldn't have been possible if Dory was not microchipped. Dory gets to be reunited with her family today and we are so excited for them!

Today is an extra special before and after grooming because it's Sadie's birthday! We have loved getting to care for this sweet girl and now we get to get hugs and kisses while she's here getting all prettied up by Holly.
