Just another happy microchip story 😊

Shoutout to the Bridgeview Police Department for taking the time to scan animals to find their families!

Microchip Hunters received a call from an officer today asking for help checking a microchip for a found cat! When the information was pulled up, it was flagged as 'missing since 5/2022' and also registered that day!

I provided the information to the officer and asked him to let me know if the phone numbers were not current, so we could do some digging, since he knew where the cat was. He called me back and said the family was crying! They came right away to pick Cuddles up!!!

Cuddles' family had her for 5 years when she went missing a 1 1/2 years ago. They registered the chip as soon as she was missing, and the information was up to date! MICROCHIPS WORK!

What a happy day for Cuddles and her family! Thank you to the finders and all that helped to get her to the police to scan her!

I’m seeing lots of comments on L&F pet posts in the area saying it’s a scam. I understand that we’ve been seeing wayyyy too many of those but not all of them are scams. Please do not just assume that and take a second to go to the original persons profile. Thank you all for helping. Please continue to support the new pages that have been created for Thomas County. Sharing….local rescue

I woke up to six canceled Patreon memberships which means $100 taken from next months funds due to supporters cards being declined or supporters just not being able to afford it anymore. (Times are tough for EVERYONE right now.)
That might not seem like a lot to some but we are literally counting Pennie’s here trying to survive and make it through the toughest year we have ever had.

We have fundraised $260 of the $645 needed by the end of next week for our Nutcracker Fundraiser before we add on the $940 for the remaining piglet and cat neuters.

Please help us reach the $385 needed for us to pay our first invoice.

Steph & I have maxed out our personal credit trying to keep us afloat.
As you know we haven’t hit any of our fundraising goals in a very long time and that keeps me up at night to a point where I have made myself sick physically and mentally.
Not good for my pregnancy or even for someone who wasn’t pregnant.

I can not stress how important this Fundraiser is.
Making sure no more babies are born here is important not only for the health of the animals but for the finances of a Sanctuary that is barely making it by.

Even if it’s just $1, anything helps us hit these goals.

We have worked too damn hard making this Sanctuary what it is which if you’ve been here you know how amazing these animals have it. And I do not want to give up but we are drowning.

Very sad to see all the deceased pets on roads lately. This morning there are two deceased dogs a few miles going into Quitman from Thomasville. A medium size white and tan dog and a young black and red dog 😞
