A shocking case of animal cruelty has emerged in Cedar Park, Texas, where a 17-year-old teenager, Aubrey Vanlandingham, has been charged with deliberately poisoning a rival’s competition show goat, Willie. According to authorities, Vanlandingham confessed to using a drench gun to force-feed a toxic pesticide to the goat in October at Vista Ridge High School. The act, reportedly caught on CCTV, led to the goat’s death 21 hours later after it experienced severe convulsions and respiratory distress.

A necropsy confirmed the cause of death as organophosphate intoxication from phosmet, a pesticide used for parasite control in livestock. Police discovered incriminating internet searches on Vanlandingham’s phone, including “how much bleach can kill an animal” and “poisoning pets, what you should know.” She reportedly admitted to targeting the goat because she believed its owner, a 15-year-old girl, was “a cheater.” Vanlandingham also revealed it was her second attempt to kill the animal.

The victim’s family has called for justice, describing the experience as deeply traumatic, with the goat’s owner holding Willie as he passed away. The teen faces up to two years in prison if convicted of cruelty to livestock animals. The victim’s mother expressed frustration, stating, “We want justice served. We don’t want a slap on the wrist.”

The pigs have roughly 5-6 bales of straw in their shelter 😅 but their heat lamp was out (don’t worry. It’s a premier lol) and I didn’t know it. We got it working again this evening, and once he realized it was on, Lil Spam had the cutest zoomies ever. Do they need the heat? No. Do they love it? Yes. Does it make me happy to know they’re happy? Yes. 🫶

A few weeks back I was looking for a new home for Carlton. I spent weeks worrying someone would eat him. Which meant weeks of trying to decide on a new home. And then the perfect one came right to him!
These wonderful people drove over two hours to come get this stinky boy. And he is living like a king!! He will have more babies hit the ground for them this spring and I know they’re excited.
Thankful for all the people and friends we’ve met through our farm endeavors 💕🫶🐐🎉✨

I will never understand how grown adults can be so belittling and nasty to others. We can agree to disagree and not attack one another. Stand firm on your beliefs, but don’t knock someone down while doing so. 😔

These brats will eventually start eating the protein tub I put out, right?? 🙃 they all took turns staring at it for long periods of time and then staring at me for even longer 😑 Downright REFUSING it. I’m assuming they thought I would budge and give them more grain. So they’re 👀 at me and I’m 👀 at them. Eventually I got tired of the stare off and walked away so they would think they won. Passive disobedience at its finest around here 🤣
