Meet Another High Roller aka Cat- registered APHA gelding, he’s ten years old 14.3 hands tall. He’s super broke and has a nice handle on him. Very quiet on the ground doesn’t mind you playing around him. Good with his feet. Have some videos of him.

RIP Beretta girl

This horse was more than just a horse, she was family. From kill pen save, to almost being starved to death from the quarantine place, shipped up 1000s of miles, and then landing here. We worked very closely with our incredible vet to get her up to weight at a safe pace. Once she was up to weight she was gorgeous and such a fun horse to ride. Then Matt came over to look at some horses and fell in love with Beretta and she fell in love with him. We were lucky enough that Matt wanted to keep her here for boarding. For the past three years she was a roller coaster, finding out last year she had cancer, then this year having the cancer spread and having issues with breathing, losing weight like crazy no matter what we did or how much we gave, called the vet to have her laid down then finding out she was pregnant, having the most handsome c**t, living and pulling long enough to give her boy the best start to life, and finally being ready. She was the most loving horse in the world. I would let her free roam and she never left the property or wondered out of the dooryard. Sorry for all the pictures but you can’t just pick out a few with Beretta.

Tonight was hard and I can’t imagine how hard for her owner Matt. I was very thankful be there for both of them. She is now runnin in in Heaven with a good set of lungs and not tired anymore. She will always be looking down at Re*****on and Matt.

Long post warning ⛔️

Beretta here has been giving us curve balls since last year. Took almost a year to get her fully up to weight and healed from all her injuries when she got here. Once completely recovered we had a lovely talk with her owner and the vet about exposing her to our stallion. She vet checked and cleared to breed. We then tried when she came into a very nice heat, well she had other plans and wasn’t a fan of being with Cash but loved and wanted him on the other side of the fence. So we slowly moved them closer to the point we could leave them in the same pasture. She wouldn’t stand for hand breeding so we decided that it was best to let them live together. Over the week all was saw was whenever they got close she would be mean and then cash just didn’t care about her. We pulled her out since we had other mares coming in for breeding and never thought they did the deed! A week later when I was giving her a bath I noticed a lump on her tail. We called the out and that’s how we found out about her having cancer. We did blood work up and full vet over. He wasn’t too concerned about it since almost every grey horse comes down with it. Fast forward a couple more months and she was starting to sound like a dinosaur walking up the fields. Called the vet again had her scoped and we found out that flap that goes back and fourth from the trachea to esophagus sticks. This has made it so she was very light only walking trail rides but mostly just a gorgeous pasture mate. She was doing great with all these going against her. A month ago she started to decline and lost her whole top line, wasn’t shedding, and dropping weight. We bumped the grain to her and yet again called the vet. We didn’t have the highest hopes thinking the cancer got worst and made it to her brain. The vet took more blood to run a few test and also test for cushions. After a week of waiting everything came back negative! So we started to plan the end of life day and how to spoil her and just show her unconditional love and support until that day is picked. Now a few days ago she got out and while walking down the field she was rear facing me. My heart dropped I could see something hanging under her. Ran up to her and looking under her and she has a bag! With everything going on with her and never seeing her and cash get together it never crossed my mind she took! Called the vet out yet again to confirmed and she definitely is and he said soon since he was feeling a head. We are being closely monitored with our vet and will be having to help feed the foal and hope that she can least do three months. If not we have Nala and Jenna that we can milk or try to see if one of them will allow it to latch or have Luna that can be a surrogate for it. It would cause more damage if we try to abort it. So she’s being feed a lot more and on a full alfalfa hay diet course slowly introducing her to it and increasing it every day until we can put a big bail with her. We are going to do our best that we possibly can for Beretta she has the best team behind her and her biggest supporter is her dad Matt Heroux so this is a very nice surprise to all of us now let’s just pray for everything to go smoothly. Great thing the vet only lives ten minutes away from us but he said she would have no problem delivering. So now have an other one to lose more sleep with.

My seven year old show casing our 19 year old gelding. Yes I know about the helmet but this boy is very trustworthy with your child, husband, or yourself. He’s up to date on everything. Stands 14.3 hands tall. No maintenance. He’s on triple Crown senior for grain. Ground ties for the farrier and vet. Gun broke all the way up to a 50 cal. No spook and no fuse. This boy has never took a wrong step.

Don’t mind my lovely daughter taking the video she got cold or my hair blowing my elastic hair tie at the end. 🖤

Will need boots or shoes until his feet are fixed and the abscess is completely out. Handsome boy, had a whole year off and rode like he was rode every day. Does move around to get on but stands still to dismount sure with more tacking up and riding he will go back to standing still.
