One Lucky Dog

The hardest part of my job is when an animal in my care has a medical emergency. I'm lucky that in the last 17 years there have only been a few. Today was not a lucky day. Sweet Blackie started having seizures today. I rushed her to VSEC and tried to contact her family in France. Unfortunately it was too much for this old girl..22years old... And while facetiming her family I helped her cross the rainbow bridge. My heart breaks for her family that couldn't be with her but I'm glad I could stand in. I care for all my clients like they are my own and I mourn their loss as if I have lost a cherished family member. 💔 rest in peace sweet girl

We are THRILLED to announce our participation in the Best Friends Animal Society pet adoption event during National Adoption Weekend! Bounty is helping “ABSORB” a portion of adoption fees during this promotional weekend by sponsoring $50 for each dog adoption and $25 for each cat adoption! Regular adoption fees are $90 for dogs and $80 for cats.

Please note that promotions do not guarantee the adoption of a shelter pet. All interested parties must participate in the full adoption process to ensure the best possible matches are made. Promotions do not include the cost of a pet license if applicable.

One look at that face and you will surely fall in love 😍Freckles is now available for adoption! Named after the series of adorable spots on her face, 4-month-old Freckles was transferred to the Update (4/18): Freckles has found her furever home!

HSVC in late March through our rescue partners. She is the sweetest, most friendly girl you will ever meet! This wiggle worm wants nothing more than to love on anyone who will give her attention. Help us find her the loving furever home she deserves!
