C.A.R.E Circus Animal Rescue

Circus Animal Rescue (C.A.R.E.) is dedicated to exposing the extreme brutality inflicted on circus animals and deseminating that information through newspaper ads, posters, pamphlets, letters to the editor, the internet and direct contact with the public. We educate local politicians and law enforcement regarding the extreme acts of cruelty perpetuated by circus animal trainers and encourage their input and help in exposing those cruel acts and in upholding the anti-animal cruelty law in Washington State. Our long term goal is for all animals to be freed from circuses and be sent to sanctuaries. Our immediate and specific goal is to encourage Ringling Circus to become animal free by attending Ringling appearances and informing circus attendees of the extreme suffering inflicted on the animals in order for them to view the unnatural and painful "tricks" circus animals are forced to perform. It is our intent to discourage the public from attending the circus thereby sending a message to Ringling and all circuses that the public does not find cruelty entertaining and that freeing circus animals to live a better life is in the best interests of everyone.
