Well, it has been a crazy summer so far.

I started the year by working to recover from a damaged QL muscle in my abdomen, that just refused to heal. Never heard of it, me neither, but it controls the movement ability of your leg and so I had spent most of the winter sitting still. If you know me, that didn't go over well.

So come spring, I started working to rebuild my strength. I moved over 100 tires from the terraces on the western side of the property, tore down an old hog barn and removed all the debri. This area is now cleared for the 3rd block of vineyards.

I have also been working on the house addition, a 12 x 45 SIP Panel structure that will be used either as a studio apartment or an Airbnb. That is to be determined latter, when the building is finished. This spring I added a floor base and started on the walls. I was making good progress with both the strength building and the structure until the heat and vine maintenance lead me off to the vineyards.

The Riverview Vineyards line of 19 varieties of Jams and Jellies has taken off, as we sold over 20 cases of product since June 12th. I am now awaiting 400 more jars to arrive to make even more. Hopefully I will have enough stock to last until Christmas. So if you have empty JELLY JARS, I am in the market.

The mother vineyard is pruned into shape with no die back this year.
We have over 100+ cuttings propagating and completion of the 2nd block looks hopeful.
