I had my right knee replaced on December 10 and I'm progressing very well with my recovery. My next Critter Sitter gig is January 15 and I expect to be able to drive myself there. Anybody planning trips in January and February, keep me in mind because I believe I can be able as well as available.

Meet beautiful Bella, my latest Critter Sitter client, with whom I get to spend the weekend. She's still a little shy, but she loves to get treats out of the green ball that she is now carefully holding in front of her. I'm not above bribery so if treats in her green ball is what will sway her, I'm game! She has already let me scratch her neck and take her on a walk so the first baby steps are working.

I'm delighted to get to be with B and Milo again! Milo loves his new toy; he has a much better view of the yard than he did before from the table.

While I was sitting at the chair next to him, he put his paws out on my arm. I'm guessing he wants his neck scratched. I of course complied.

This week my companions are Jeff and Huxley Heitkamp, and both cats have accepted me into their tribe with affectionate head butts against my hands and legs, the customary showing of trust. I'm delighted!
