2 cougar sightings caught on door cameras within 3 minutes of my house north and west (marked as stars) ⭐️
Good things goats have rectangular eyes and can see almost 360 degrees and run fast!! Stop at this photo if you don’t want to see what happened when a German Shepard and blue hound with collars chased us home from the green space yesterday and bit Lucy’s ear.
I couldn’t figure out where the dogs came from or why her head was wet til I saw them swim across the creek.
City life is feeling a bit wild this week and we will be staying IN 🏠🚪🐐

Happy 2nd birthday Merlin!! I love you ❤️ 🧙‍♂️ May the greenest of branches always be within your reach.
This boy gave me one of the biggest scares of my life 2 weeks ago with Urinary calculi (kidney stones for goats). I got complacent and fed my girls extra alfalfa. After pain meds and ammonium chloride he got through it. He’s back on a balanced diet and doing just fine. Special thanks to for seeing us on such short notice.

It was such a delight to have friends visit the goat farm and learn all about these funny little creatures. They claim they will adopt 4 wethers within 5 years. My money is on goats within 6 months mathing up to 20 head by year 5! Place your bets now 🐐☘️🌱🐐🐐!!

The new set of baby goats made a special visit to a graduation party with a couple of friendly classics. The cuddles and jumps were a big hit 🐐🐐🎉💫

Last week I made a special delivery of this sweet chucky boy S’more to a special home of first time goat owners. They dove in head first with a little herd (my kind of folks) and I wanted them to have this super friendly guy to start their journey off right and of course it was love as first sight. He is going to have lots of snuggles and grazing in the brush and even has a new play structure.

Father: Bourbon, Mothers: Jolene and Red Clover
Tentative ideas: Dolly,…,Golden Boy, Old Red (or Red Whiskey)

The new kids on the block had to take their first solo journey today but they handled it like champs, except for screaming on the way to and from the car. Mommas stayed home this time but everyone is happily reunited and one step braver.

Little mister Freddie Prinze Jr. is growing up too fast and went off to his new home yesterday where he will be part of a herd near a state park on the Olympic Peninsula and all of his wetland grazing skills will pay off as they explore the forest. The herd has all biblical names so he shall henceforth be known as Nathan. I love you Freddie Nathan, be a good boy 💙

Crow and Caw went off to their new home today where they will be friends with a lonely goat who lost her friend and a 4-yr-old and 1-yr-old human. It’s hard to see them go but meeting their kind and caring new family makes me happy to bring goat joy to their home. They already can’t believe how sweet the boys are and sent me a video of everyone running around 🐦‍⬛🐐💚💚
