I belong to a vet group and this was one of today’s posts. This is one of the reasons I don’t use a food from big warehouse companies anymore.

HELLO VETS

Please help I’ve never had this happen

We bought a new bag of food 4 days ago

Natural balance limited ingredient

For my 15 year old pit

And we noticed today in his food bowl there’s like mini worms/maggots i don’t know what they are!!

But I almost passed out from how many there are everywhere in his bowl and in the food bag. Is this an emergency?

What should we do? He’s been eating it for 4 days and 2 of our other dogs got some kibbles too so we’re nervous they all ingested these worms.

Update: he is living his best life. He moved to Washington 💙🐩

Unfortunately, due to no fault of this little guys the lady that bought him that was picking him up Friday, fell this morning and broke her arm. 😢 so I still have him available. I have reduced the price to get him in a home. Please contact me as soon as possible. He’s had his second shot yesterday I will groom him and have him ready for you to pick up ASAP. He’s a very sweet little guy.
