Trying so hard to preen lol..

Next hatch of hopefully 3 siblings and a Magpie call to join this wee one. Hoping not gonna be a bully since will be 2 weeks older..
Video I took also.. such characters!
Next will be trying to get photos and video of my Snowy Calls.
I will be dividing them up this week and putting in their pens. Hoping for a good hatch of some quality babies!
Poor Bahloo, so many girls wanting his affection.. all wanting to be his Valentine for today <3
Taken a few days ago before polar vortex/storm Mabel hit us wed night/yesterday. It dropped temps the past few nights down to -7 or less.. with windchills dangerously low yesterday morning, at 8am was -33°. Last night thankfully was only -15° wc and we are already on the upswing and at 2° with a -4° windchill. They will be SO happy when I let them out here shortly. Yesterday I kept them locked up, and kept eyeing the cams. I know they wouldn't wanted out anyhow.
Meat birds are getting big too.. they are about 4 or 5 weeks old now. Had to move them for one because was a pain in the back to hunch over to water and feed them, plus they needed fresh grass/ground and a little more room..
Love these girls! This is why I love ducks so much!Totoro is very curious about what's afoot under her daughter, Ponyo.. these will be her grandbabies. I already have 3 generations and if some of these are from Chibi2 then I will have 4 generations. <3
Totoro, daughter's Ponyo and Chu, granddaughter Chibi2... so far. . Hard to tell who laid what egg now as they share nests rofl..
Mama dove lost one of her littles, they are getting too big for the nest. Sam's dog JuJu got ahold of it and was tossing it in the air... hoping she didn't hurt it. Sam put it on the other side of the fence in the bushes.
I did turn off the heat lamp because it was really warm in there but may turn back on over nights just as a precaution until big enough. She is doing a great job!
It's finally going up! Slowly but getting there. Had to go with plan B... cattle panels instead of woven wire. That was a nightmare.
Gotta see if I have enough wood to do top and bottom all the way round then add one in the middle.. put in my gates and done! Minus adding hardware cloth around the bottom to keep dogs and ducklings/ducks in and critters from digging in..
