Back to business…trigger points in particular. What are they and why is it so beneficial to find them?

Whether you compete at a high level or not, everyone accumulates excess tension within their muscles. Painful “trigger points” can form. I can use my hands to feel for these spots and eliminate them.

Is your horse sore, cranky, not wanting to bend a certain direction? It might be as simple as muscle soreness from normal use that we can easily address. It is a game changer, I’m telling you.

She is at the Winter Slide with her partner in crime. Thank you for the cute pic Manon! Can’t wait to get the show started tomorrow! Manon and Stari Nite are up first in the open, and then I will show non pro this weekend.

Now is a good time to thank everyone at MBRH, but especially Mathieu, Manon, and Catherine for helping me get to the next level in my riding. I feel completely nervous to show, but we ARE at a new level. So I’m excited and hopeful to see how that will translate in the show pen. Reining is hard y’all, but so much fun! 🤠

Jessie Report: she is ok! She has made it out of Texas, in route to her new home. I am so pleased she is going to a great home in Utah.

I will forever be grateful that I had some time to spend with her before she left. We chilled, I reminisced, and we took lots more pictures.

Her stall was empty this morning, but I spoke to the new owner and my heart is at peace. It’s all we ever want for our dear friends, for them to be taken care of. I think we accomplished that for
Spook N Jessie.

Happy and sad tears today! We are so happy that Jessie is going to continue her legacy as a producer, but my heart is broken that she will no longer be by my side. She has been the one constant for the past 11 years. Thank you
Spook N Jessie! And thank you Andy Fishburn. We wish you all the best 💜 Safe travels!

Can’t wait to see her produce more gorgeous babies.

My little mare with the huge personality! She was so funny yesterday. She came out of her stall like a pistol, walked into the main barn demanding a cookie for “being good”. Of course she did not receive one for walking to barn. But she rode really well, after some play time on the longe line. After…she absolutely got two cookies. Then she was content. I’ve truly never seen a horse “work for food” before. Just two little cookies is her price! 🤣
Today she is a snow pony! Thank you Manon for the pics. Hope she was good and got her paycheck of cookies. 😜🤩
And I think she would totally pull y’all on the sleds if you could explain it to her…🛷❄️☃️

Big things are planned for La Losa and Stari Nite, but that means hard decisions had to be made. We are offering our special girl, Spook N Jessie to the right program. We absolutely want the best for her. She was a fierce competitor (my green Reiner for many years, as well as, an open derby entry for us) and now an amazing mama. She is young and healthy enough to carry several more foals. But as technology improves, there is big potential for many many babies to come.
