Have you been visited by the 13 and/or 17 year cicada broods? Butterscotch, an apex predator, has been hunting cicada at his house. *Cicadas pose no threat to your pet and are not toxic to your pets. They are, however, related to shellfish. So if you or your pet have an allergy to shellfish, it is not recommended to eat them...* 😁

We meet both your needs and the needs of the pets we groom. Grooming can be a long process for some dogs, so periodic rests are necessary. We will meet your pets where they are at. If they need to rest, we will let them rest. If they want to feel extra pretty, we make them extra pretty. If they want a mow-hawk, we will give them a mow-hawk. (Mow-hawk by Taylor, cutie with feathers by Shannon, Addy is giving a Great Pyrenees a rest while she’s finishing up)

This customized Therapaws treatment restored (and will continue to with each treatment) health back to George's infected skin.

Therapaws is a treatment plan customized for your pet's specific need. Our skin aestheticians are professionally certified by IV San Bernard. IV San Bernard cosmetic/grooming aid product line is the first to be certified by the Safe Pet Cosmetic program.

You know those little bags that sheets and pillowcases come in that you never know what to do with? They’re great for keeping your pet from licking their feet. Especially helpful for when Addy applies the magic clay to their feet to dry up an itchy bothersome foot! (Just make sure you’re not tying it too tight).

Time for some spring cleanups! With spring just around the corner, we are starting to book up quickly.

We also found our first tick of the season yesterday 😳 YIKES! Did you know that grooming isn’t just about keeping your pet pretty, but also helping keep them healthy! Our groomers sometimes notice things that you can’t. From ear infections to sores and TICKS!

Just a few of the dogs that got super de-sheds this week! LOOK AT ALL THAT HAIR! It’s not just for long haired dogs. Keira did a great job on all of them. I can attest to that because the yellow lab whose hair is all over her shirt is mine :) she’s still shedding of course, because she’s a lab. But there is a significant difference in the amount of hair and I probably will only have to vacuum every other day instead of three times a day. That’s a win for me!! ~Marcy
