I have never read one of Kimberly's books, and I have definitely become a fan of hers. Telling the story of a mother and daughter is no easy task, and she executed it with ease. You don't truly know what you have until it is gone. 5 stars Karin Slaughter does it again. A beautiful rendition of a strong female character being a true badass. I never would have guessed Andrea would have joined the US Marshals. I honestly didn't even know they existed. I thought there were only air Marshall's, so I had to do some of my own research. The book was gripping and after you understood who all the characters were and how they fit in, it made a lot of sence....

"I'd rather and be wrong than never try at all " This book resonated with me more than possibly any other book has. Jo experienced more than her fair share of "boy issues" starting from a young age. As a victim of sexual assault, I could feel what Jo was feeling. After listening to the authors note at the end how she too has battled through sexual assault it made so much sence why every single emotion was something I too had gone though at the exact same age as Jo....

Your hands become white knuckled holding the railings until you trip and fall and have an unexpected ending. Thank you NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for an advanced copy of this book. Maine is my favorite state and I was beyond excited to read a book based in Maine. The firmiliar places mentioned made the book more real, which might be why it felt more gruesome than desired. Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture Audio for an advanced copy of this audiobook.What a thriller! The book started out slow but it sped up quickly. The ending leaves your mouth wide open. The suspected killer isn't actually the killer. I highly recommend this book for suspense readers. The characters were tastefully done and their point of views throughout the book made it even better.

Thank you Macmillan Audio and NetGally for an advanced audio copy of this book. As a second book in this YA mystery/thriller series, Ripley Jones did not disappoint. It is hard not to love the characters in this book and follow them through their journey to figure out who is the imposter claiming to be Matty's older sister, Lola. This person looks like their sister who disappeared five years ago without a trace, but Matty can feel deep in their soul it isn't their sister.This book draws you in and doesn't let you go until the very end.

This has to be my favorite style of a way a book is told. Going into the past, podcast blurbs, and one maine narrator. This book was a quick read and the story line was amazing! Amy illustrates the story into your mind perfectly. There are just enough details and not too much where things feel drawn out. I would recomend this to friends and family to read.On my list for top favorite books I've read. I look forward to reading more from Amy.
