Good Morning, ๐Daisy ๐ Is actually pretty mild as border collies goโค๏ธ Except when she is not and that is usually when her prey drive kicks in on walks and she blows a gasket! โ ๏ธโ๏ธโฆ.A Little time in the home preparing her to see following her humans beneficial, then brought the game outside. We have given Sweet ๐Daisy very clear and specific new jobsโฆ1 Walk at a specific speed ( whatever pace human is walking, Crawling or running ) Walk By the humans side ( Following, at least a little behind, Not Leading ) On A Loose Leash ( moderate J shaped draped in front of the dogs chest )โค๏ธ I encountered a neighborhood dog that She has been Lunging Barking, Snarling and Dragging Her Humans toward Full Throttle! Not Today! She was too busy paying attention to her new specific jobs! Good Morning, Starting off the day with Luxurious ๐Maisie ๐ A 3 year old Very Sweet but set in her ways Collie โค๏ธ She runs her yard happily chasing bunnies and if cars drive by the running and barking reaches a different levelโฆ That being said, when Mom has her on a leash and a car goes byโฆ It was Overwhelming โ๏ธโ ๏ธ This day during her third training session Mom and I were joking about the how many convertible BMWs drove by in a half hourโฆ it was around 8??? The Amazing thing wasโฆ We were enjoying our walk and our conversation โฆ And so was ๐Maisie ๐ She was so relaxed and walking with us like a well practiced dance partner, attention to our pace and happily following, paying almost no mind to all the vehicles driving byโค๏ธ There were even trucks in front of the house cutting trees and feeding them to the chipper while we walkedโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ Way To Go ๐Maisie! ๐ You Too Mom! ๐โค๏ธ๐๐๐พ๐

Good Morning, ๐Moose ๐ Is a bit of a unicorn in the world or puppyโs under a year oldโฆ He acts a bit like the friendly Eeyore from Winnie the Pooโฆ People always ask his new Awesome Mom how she taught him to be so chill and easy going. Fact is he came that way, most would wonder why train. Actually he is a bit insecure, and there are times when he becomes a bit overwhelming with Mom and walks are not terrible unless of coarse there is a bunny or squirrel around then he lunges and pulls like truckโฆ So he is Amazing, except for when he Is notโฆ And at those times however so infrequent he doesnโt listen to Mom at allโฆ You see, when your dog is very user friendly you donโt take the time to work at trainingโฆ Then when you need them to listen to you one day.. It simply hasnโt been practiced so listening when excited is a bit of a foreign concept at that point? Good Morning, ๐Moose ๐ Was recently adopted from Texas โฆ There are not enough eees in Sweet to describe this laid back easy going guyโค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ He came from less than perfect beginning s and is a tad insecure about new things, noises, even Squeaky Balls give him a little concern but he is an absolute ๐Love ๐ His Awesome Mom reached out for a little help because as sweet as he is, he has moments of OPB ( Obnoxious Puppy Behavior ) Mom is learning how to develop a healthier Human / Dog relationship so this sweet guy can stop playing rowdy with his loving humans as if they are his littermates โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ Great First Training Session ๐Moose! ๐ You Too Mom! ๐ 401-225-5930
