If you’re looking for a loyal and lively companion who will keep you smiling, Bart is the one for you!

Ready to give Bart the loving home he deserves? Come on down to meet this sweet boy today! We are open for foster & adoptions from 11am until 4:30pm. He’ll be waiting for you!

Look at this sweet face!

“Hi everybody! My name is Macomber!! I have been apart of the LC4 family since June 30th and it’s been great, but I was really hoping to stay with someone else very soon! Would you be willing to give me a chance?

I’m a very good boy! Shelter life has been a little exhausting.. and I’ve been here for a very long time so I get a little excited at first and seem very high energy but If you give me the opportunity my favorite past time is snuggling!! I love you already and hope to see you soon!”

These last two days have been VERY busy. We have taken in 27 dogs who were found running loose. 1 was thankfully reclaimed by their owner and one was transferred to Toledo Humane. 25 of them are still here and want to go home so badly!

PLEASE if you are missing your dog come down to the shelter and walk through the kennels to see if they are here! We are open Monday - Friday 11am-6pm Saturday & Sunday 11am-5pm.

**all of the information we have for each dog is listed under their photo. They are not available for adoption at this time. They have a stray hold for 72 hours and after that if not claimed they will go through an evaluation process which includes behavior testing, dog to dog testing, body handling, and a medical evaluation. All dogs adopted from us are spayed/neutered, tested for Heartworm, have their initial vaccinations, and are microchipped. **

A head to head (haha get it…head to head 🤣) competition has broken out between our teenagers Autumn and Yaroo for who has the best ears.

Is it Autumn with her satellite dish ears with the perfectly folded tips or Yaroo with his adorably spotted tortilla chip ears?

Vote for your favorite in the comments!

**both pups are 10/10 very good and cute babes and we love them equally 😊**

More of a nite owl instead of an early bird? Inky might be the boy for you!

The sweet guy just did NOT want to get up this morning for his 13abc debut. He snoozed and we talked about what a sweet man he is! Inky has a respiratory infection and would benefit greatly from a foster or foster-to-adopt home to rest and recover in. He gets along well with other dogs and loves people.

From now until the 26th all of our dogs over 6 months have a waived adoption fee with the donation of a large bag of individually wrapped candy for our upcoming Trunk or Treat. Come meet Inky or one of his friends today! We’re open for adoptions from 11am to 4:30pm.
