Very sorry to my NYC peeps for not letting you know I was in NYC.

A woman that adopted a dog was Attacked. Bitten badly on her face within 24 hours of the dog being in the apartment.

She fled the apartment. The dog was alone for 5 days. Minimal maintenance and care.

A NYC trainer and friend of mine, Andrea Smith, of DREASDOGWORLD, was called in for the case. She was the first to experience the dog. The dog was slated for euthanasia if it could not be re-homed. She called me daily. I said. “Why don’t I come up and assist you?”

We unlocked the code.

The dog is now in a home with a fantastic couple as of yesterday. Living in 3 story Brownstone w/a yard in Cobble Stone Brooklyn!

Guess who's making her big-time television debut this Friday at 8am?? It's our longest running resident, LADYBELLE!!! Please tune in News 12 New Jersey on Friday morning for the Paws and Pals segment and cheer our Ladybelle on! 🐾🎉

Ladybelle is 9 years old now and she arrived wayyy back in August, 2019! How is this possible that she's still here you may be wondering? Well, she was adopted and returned four times. We can promise you, Ladybelle never did anything wrong.

1st time: Home for a week and the adopter changed their mind about having a dog.
2nd time: Home overnight and came back the next day due to being too energetic.
3rd time: Home for three weeks and was reactive to neighborhood dogs while out for a walk.
4th time: Home for six months but her adopter was walking her, tripped over her, and let her go. Ladybelle was later picked up by Animal Control and taken to another shelter where she was turned in.

Things simply have not worked out for Ladybelle, that's all. She used to be more energetic, she used to react to other animals too.....now, Ladybelle is more for plopping on your feet and getting your attention or rolling on her back in the grass. She doesn't react to other dogs much anymore and she could even meet a dog her size and see how it goes! (No cats though). She's just an all-around perfect dog that loves people, loves life, is so well-behaved, and is such sweetheart. Arden.
She is the first one at the kennel who said to me, “I want you.” My response was, “We’ve got work to do for you to be mine.”

And work we did. Everyone at the kennel knew, Arden was my favorite.
Even those at Camp Michikamau. Camp offered me a job this summer. One of my negotiating points was Arden. A friend of mine in Washington wanted me to come back. Arden
Was part of the deal.

I just received word from the kennel. Arden was adopted today. I am so happy. And gutted all the same.

Good-Bye Arden (aka MJ, that’s what I would have and did call you). Congratulations! I never want too see you again!

Hard to believe. This time last year I was flown to Scotland by my dear friends to help train their friends and neighbors dogs. It was quite the adventure!

Just finished first session with my neighbors and their precious Shelties. First session, LEASH CONTROL!
It was very good. Humans and dogs adapted to the session easily.

I had a great time! Looking forward to next week. Hmmm? Must make a plan!

Somber day. Was informed that one of our dogs crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

It affected me.

At the end of my day I took Arden out for an extra long time.

Blink is going to a forever home tomorrow. I stopped at my church to light a candle for the one who passed, and for Blink’s future.
