Hi ! So it's been a min since our last post. Apologies for that. But here we go...
There have been some questions about chewing habits. ๐ฆท๐
๐พ
My go-to long-lasting chew is a large beef bone. Knuckles, femurs, shins.... all good! As long as it's beef. They don't splinter as some types of bones do. ๐ฆด And they come in all sizes.
You can find them online or at most places that sell pet foods and treats. To decide which size is right for your dog; find the size you think is "just right" for your dog and go up a size ๐ .
Except y'all with dogs that weigh more than 90lbs ; you guys should just start with the largest one you can find! ๐
A large femur, shin, and/or a knuckle bone will be your best bet.
Having a long-lasting chew will calm your dog and also give them something to do so they don't get bored and chew your couch! ๐ Also, having as many different textures as well as levels of firmness in toys and chews is a great way for them to explore without destroying furniture.
