Our sweet Marilyn aka "Mare-mare" loves a good scritch session. But at times doesn't know when is enough! 😆🥰
Mare-mare would love to be your cuddle-bug! She so deserves a human or family of her own! She's a fantastic mouser and will scare off any other rodents you may have! She's great off-leash and would love to go hiking or walking with you and yours! She gets along great with other dogs; even having a mothering quality to her with the smaller ones. Shilo is a lovable senior dog who once faced a tough situation in our neighborhood. For most of his life, he was tied up, first to a tree with a homemade doghouse and a heat lamp, and later in a backyard with a 25-30 foot run between trees. When his owner's roommate had to move, he was faced with the difficult decision to either take Shilo to a shelter or let him go. Thankfully, he chose to reach out to our rescue, and we were more than happy to have a kennel ready for Shilo.

Since we welcomed him, he has been living his best life, running freely in the yard and soaking up the sun. Since Shilo didn’t have much training before coming to Off the Chain, he’s like a blank canvas, just waiting to be shaped into an amazing companion with training and plenty of love. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this sweet boy!

Cupid is thriving in a loving foster home, where she has blossomed into a delightful dog. Her sweetness shines through, and although she may initially be a bit timid when meeting new people, she warms up after a few encounters. She enjoys playing with her foster brothers and loves cuddling with her foster mom and dad. Gypsy is a 7-year-old double-coated ticked tabby mix with gray, light brown, and black fur, weighing 12 pounds. He had to fend for himself before finding a loving home, and while he has become affectionate and enjoys cuddling, he still needs time to adjust and is uncomfortable being held.

Though blind in one eye, Gypsy has a playful spirit but may hide in new environments. If you have a dog, it must be cat-friendly, as he won’t climb or use a cat tree due to his vision impairment. This wonderful boy deserves a forever home—please consider giving him a chance!
