Zephyr has officially been picked up by his new family and is on his 3 hour drive home. So excited for him he has an amazing home. Best part I still get to see and visit him.

Ok we found a mobile clinic that can get everyone in as soon as Aug 7th. I am waiting to hear back if they will discount for the 501.

As of now we are looking at roughly $1200 to get everyone fixed. Includes surgery, pain meds and ecollars.

If you are able to help please feel free to send us a message. I can ask the vet if we can set up where people can call them directly to make donation or we other options to accept.

Any help would be amazing. This is a bit out of our normal realm.

Not our typical rescue here on farm. But there was some puppies found in a box near some mailboxes. Mom was found close by.

There is mom 1 male and 5 females. I will post photos once I get some good ones we are allowing them to relax and settle in.

Tomorrow a friend if mine is going to help me get wormer and give them their first set of shots. We will work on getting them fixed and finding them their furever homes.

Please if you are able to help donate towards cost of getting all of them including mom fixed please let us know.

We will keep everyone updated on their progress. They all seem very healthy so far.

What a long but great weekend!
Both kaylynn and myself learned a lot about the grooming or her lamb.

She so got most improved at the end of camp!! So proud of her. She did great in the show as well. She was so tired and her feet were covered in blisters but she got out there and did great.

Time to focus on getting a good travel/horse trailer to be able to stay at the camp grounds.

She's come such long way in just under a year.

Sorry I know our post are so far apart. We have been going through a lot as a family and as a farm.

Mr. Man of the farm was in a serious car accident. He was sitting in stand still traffic and a semi not paying attention hit him and rolled him multiple times. He is doing pretty well given what he went through. But lots of doctors appointments and lot more healing to go.

On farm side. It's crazy business as usual. I am so thankful for our close circle helping me with hauling hay and task that I can't do alone.

I am at camp with the little one for her lamb. We are trying to keep things for her as "normal" as we can during this crazy time.

We ask for prayers for healing and our sanity during this crazy time.

Will be lots of shade and checking waters 3x a day. I HATE our summers. Wish I could bring them all inside but the man says noooo.

There is a saying "farm kids are raised different " that is 100% true. This has nothing to do with personal experience as we have an amazing little circle of like minded people around us.

I see Facebook post of kids having fun and these bubble parents just bashing the parents for allowing their kids to do it and how dangerous it is.....

I heard a saying once "allow kids to do dangerous things safely "

Another words if they want to climb a huge jungle gym or stack if hay LET THEM as Long as you are right there guide them on how to do it. Don't teach them to be afraid of getting hurt. You will just raise unhappy, unmotivated adults because " I MIGHT get hurt".

Yes life hurts. Learn from it and move on.

Temporarily welcome these 2 tiny beans to our farm from a friends farm. Kaylynn has named them Timber and Moon. Their mom had 5 living babies!!! So we were asked to help feed them for little bit. Feeding every 2 hours.

Well one of my first ever goats went to her new home today. Little sad to see her go but she went to someone we know and I know she will be well cared for. They also took one of our babies from this year.

Thank you so much Clint Gladden with gladden farms for purchasing Kaylynns first ever lamb.

She has worked so hard this year and is already itching for all her projects for next year. It's very bitter sweet experience having to leave Milo behind.

Edit Lot 51!! They moved her

It is auction day. It's going to be a LONG emotional one.

Please remember even if can't buy her lamb you can go online and do a add on and "sponcer" her lamb with a few bucks. These will all be announced on the 15th.

https://maricopacountyfair.org/junior-auctions/

We can not thank everyone for all their support and kind words enough!!

The money she earns goes straight to her next project animal and let me tell you this kid has plans!!!

She is lot 51. Her lambs name is milo. She helped work for the breeder and paid for her lamb all on her own. She has maintained and worked her lamb all on her own with the guidance of our amazing friend Michelle McAlister !! She did so amazing this year and can't wait to see what she accomplishes next season

We made it all signed and weighed in. Tomorrow let the fun begin.

Those who want to come support her at auction it's Saturday. There is an online option but you need to pre register. You don't have to buy her lamb but can always push up the bids or I THINK there's a way to put money on the lamb that just adds to her final sale price.

Example... her lamb sales for 500 but you "sponcer" $20 she gets 520..

Moved all the goats last week to a holding pen because we had something going on with our herd. Sometimes no matter how careful you are there's still some things can't stop.

After a very hefty vet bill, still waiting on bill from labs, thank goodness was only coccidia and was treatable. We did lose one of our sweet babies and that was devastating for all of us but mostly kaylynn.

They are all doing great now and ready to move back to main pen. So decided to fix it up for them.

Think they will enjoy it?

Want to have a farm? Looks like fun right? Cute little sun dresses cuddling with the animals..

No one warns you about putting your goat on milk stand to wait for a poo sample because they are not feeling well and want to send it to vet..
