IT’S TIME TO GET COWBOY ADOPTED! Please share this Foxy and the Hounds post in hopes of finding him the very best forever home! Cowboy is a ridiculously adorable 6 year old Staffordshire Terrier mix and weighs about 50 lbs. He has been with us way too long because his fosters have had a hard time wanting to let Cowboy go. But, now it’s time for his happily ever after! He is pure love, very sensitive, mellow, loving, relaxed, easy going and loyal. He is the sweetest boy ever with a smile that lights up a room!
Cowboy is a homebody and a big couch potato. He gets along great with other dogs that are mellow like him, but does not do well with hyper dogs. Cowboy is such a good boy, loves to cuddle and belly rubs are his absolute favorite. He is truly the best and easiest dog ever and whoever adopts him is going to be so lucky! He is definitely a rescue and fan favorite and is long overdue for the perfect forever home. If you are interested in making Cowboy part of your family, please email [email protected] for an adoption application.
UPDATE: WISTERIA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!! https://www.facebook.com/foxyandthehounds/posts/1594491820637696
Foxy and the Hounds is looking for a hero for Wisteria:
URGENT!!! We have just one more day to find Wisteria a hero and a forever home! Many of you have followed Wisteria’s story since our original post when we first rescued her after she was tied to a tree far off trail and left as coyote bait: https://www.facebook.com/foxyandthehounds/posts/1338328449587369
Wisteria has been with our amazing foster/trainer Kelly Caldwell from Bark At The Park, LLC for several months now but she is going out of town and will no longer be able to foster her. We are desperately trying to avoid having to put wisteria in boarding but will have no other option if we cannot find her a home.
Wisteria deserves to set down roots, to be loved, cared for and to have a family to call her own. She has been completely overlooked and truthfully does not make a great first impression. She is scared that anyone new she meets might hurt her, but if you are willing to give her just 15 to 30 minutes so that she can realize you mean her no harm... then you will have the most loyal, loving, lifelong best friend ever. Wisteria should be the only pet in the house and a home with older kids would be best.
To have met Wisteria barking and growling when she was abandoned tied up to a tree, and then seeing her happy and loving in this video today is why I rescue. I had to be reminded of this yesterday as I was very discouraged that no one was giving this sweet girl the chance she deserves. But, Jason Parker said to me, “Don’t give up, she won’t”! That was exactly what I needed to hear and absolutely the truth. I will never give up on Wisteria because she would never give up on me and she would never ever give up on you! I know her perfect forever home is out there and I will keep posting until I find it. Please help and share this post far and wide so that Wisteria’s hero can se
UPDATE: AMERICA AND HARRIETTE HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!
America and Harriette are ready and waiting to be adopted! All we can think when I watch this video is what a wonderful and different life these two rescued puppies will now have and that makes me so happy! With all the medicals they have taken in lately, these two little healthy puppies of Foxy and the Hounds have not been given the networking time they deserve. So here we go... America and Harriette do not need to be adopted together, they just need loving homes and a family to call their own. They are so sweet, so loving, and will make you smile all day long.
America (the white speckled one) is a beautiful 5 lb, 8 week old female, and her breed has us stumped. She will be a medium to large size dog however.
Harriette is a 2 lb, 10 week old female Terrier mix and will be a small breed dog.
If you are interested in meeting either America or Harriette, please email [email protected] for an adoption application.
This is five year old Belle at Bakersfield Shelter. She is a total lover and just had her back leg amputated as they could not save her leg. I want to go get her and I need a foster and also someone to pick her up.
Little help please - we need to give Belle her Last Bad Day. Text 310 463 0311.
If you can't donate then please share. This is the lady I am trying to help. She needs a miracle, let's be her miracle. We support our dogs, but sometimes we must support the people who support the dogs.
Click on this link and donate, just 20 dollars each would get this done.

Jack is great with kids and cats and dogs and he is only two years old and so eager to love and learn. He really needs a home soon as he does not have a committed foster yet and I'm basically juggling him between homes so he doesn't have to go to boarding. Boarding will crush his hopeful little soul. He starting to get a sense of what life should be like and I just don't have the heart to put him back into boarding/cage after being in Carson Shelter. Please, please help!!! He is located in Los Angeles area but we can transport for the right home. 310 463 0311 Sarah. Text me or call. This boy needs a home!!!
Things are getting crictical for Dolly. The owner is desperate to give her up and it makes me very concerned for her safety. She is breaking my heart. This video is so cute and so sad at the same time. Dolly is blind and a senior and she is must have a safe home soon. All she needs is cuddles and preferably a grassy lawn in a safe location. So no pools or coyotes. Email me at [email protected] or text 310 463 0311. Dolly is located in the LA area. She is very urgent,
