This is what we feed all of our colony cats (about 15 in total). We have 2 outdoor feeding stations in for the kitties that don't have a home. Most of them have been fixed by a local organization. We are configuring cost by how many babies we can feed...

We use these instead of heater bulbs. They are less likely to cause a fire, have issues and they last a lot longer!

Right now we have a total of about 20 cats we care for - stray and live in our home. 5 dogs, 10 birds including 4 pea fowl.... so every little bit helps. We are hoping to purchase more outdoor warm houses for the feeding stations that we have to help feed local colony cats!

2 of our indoor kitties! One was a foster fail (the Grey cat on the left). Her original mom became homeless, we took her in as a foster. She came to us feral and it took us 2 months to even integrate her into the pack. Almost 2 yrs later there is no way we could let her go.... Her original owner never wanted her back so....

Taz (the orange boy on the right) was adopted by my son 12 yrs ago from our local humane society! He was on the list to be put to sleep and we went there looking for a kitten. My son met him and decided he was the one. Taz is getting old, doesn't have as much energy and the reason why we always have a heater with beds by it. He does love it when I turn on cat TV and he will play with the stuff moving around.... it's pretty amazing!

This is one of the "colony" cats we care for, we named him Roger doger. We have about 5 colony cats that we feed and have warm houses on the porch to keep them warm.... They are strays, but colony cats have been fixed by a local organization. I have 5 indoor cats right now, so taking in anymore really isn't an option.... but this boy does have my heart ❤️

Betty the cow thought she would just stroll around where she isn't supposed to be.... She is so stinking cute!

We need to name our turkey... So we have this beautiful heritage turkey - she was a rescue that I took in last summer -

She has laid some eggs and we snuck some chicken eggs under her because there is no way her eggs will do anything because they aren't fertile... so she will have babies soon but she will probably have no idea that they aren't hers for awhile but we are still keeping an eye on her since we aren't 100% sure how she will respond to them being chickens.... She is in with the peas but we do have a "mom" area right next door if we need to seperate her & the babies.... Since she is broody we are taking advantage of it a bit by placing the fertile chicken eggs under her... yes she hisses at me if I get to close.

So the peas are all named after Harry Potter Characters - then there is Queen Betsy the Turkey and the other animals on the farm are named after food (even though they really aren't food).

We are working on garnering funds to build Harry and his girls a bigger pen.... Donations can be made to Venmo - anje-kearney-2 or cash app - anjekearney2. Our rescue turkeys Betsy & pilgrim will go in too... We also have our rescue chickens going in the larger oen also! Plus 2 baby B*w turkeys!

Any help is appreciated but not necessary to watch this amazing boy! As many of you know last year I lost my farm, had a disaster of a year and I was lucky enough to find a family with acerage to help me keep my birds. I am still working on getting a solid place of my own but am helping them at their farm to pay for my birds to be there. The whole situation put me in about $25000 debt plus.... 😒

I would just like them to have a bigger pen and it's going to cost about $2000 for all the material and such!

Went out to see the peas, turkeys & chickens! Gave them some #Halloween treats!

So found this little guy in thr middle of the road in front of the wood shed (old moose)... turned around, grabbed him and looked for about 10 min to see if I could find a nest! Little chicken was born with wry neck... So he spent the day with me cause he couldn't be on his own...By the afternoon he was doing better after some vitamins

So this just happened while I was out in the garage watching the storm roll through (I might have went out and ran around in the puddles too)... I so wanted to just go hug him ❤️ #racoon #cute #mamafeedshim

So I changed out stock tanks for the broody hens & the chick's (I don't think they are all theirs). Took a video and if you look really close towards the end, there is a baby coming out of its shell. I knew it was close when I picked it up, but that was kinda cool! I did go through the eggs and candle them, only moved over the ones that had obvious signs of life in them. Looks like I'm going to have a whole bunch of babies I wasn't expecting (I said I was done hatching eggs, Oopps)... They are good mothers and thankfully Dino our rooster has found several new favorites to torment... ❤️ (And yes they have a radio in their house to keep them company I think it's on 98.5 fm)
