We have been asked to help this momma & her two kittens, but do not have any foster space left. Would you be interested in fostering these sweethearts?

They're currently living outdoors and the babies just opened their eyes last week. Please email [email protected] if you can help! We can supply food, litter, and all veterinary care. You supply the love and affection to get them adoption-ready!

Please help us find these *perfect* boys their true forever home! They were adopted together and the family wasn't a good fit. Since these two boys are bonded, we are having difficulty finding a family to love them forever. Please consider adopting this lovely pair of affectionate & outgoing boys! All cats and kittens come: spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV, and treated with appropriate flea treatment and dewormers. Focaccia, 3 mos, male

This sweetheart has come a long way while in our care! He was initially terrified of humans but now enjoys a good cuddle in bed with his foster mom. While Focaccia does not like to be picked up, he adores affection and cuddles. He startles at loud sounds more easily than his littermates, so a home with mature children, or none at all, would be the best fit. We're not sure why, but neither Frances nor Perkins has received a single adoption application yet! This adorable brother-sister duo can go home together or separate, though who wouldn't want double the snuggles?! It has been two weeks and we have gotten ZERO applications for our sweet Chips. This 6.5-month-old girl is seeking a forever home without dogs and young children. She is a huge snugglebug and wants nothing more than to cuddle with her family. Please, help us find her forever home!

We know that everybody is getting restless, hoping to adopt while their families are home during this quarantine. Rest assured we are giving our cats and kittens the best of care, ensuring that they are healthy and well-socialized before going up for adoption. All available cats and kittens are posted on our Facebook and PetFinder page as soon as they are ready for adoption. Please review these sites before sending a private message. We are not in need of new foster families at this time. To fill your kitten fix, please appreciate these foster babies wrestling after their midday meal!

Kitten Foster & Adoption Program

Second Chance Kitties are stray, barn, and (formerly) feral cats and kittens who are brought to us by kind-hearted members of the community. Instead of living a hard existence in the Maine wilderness - facing long and brutally cold winters, potentially exposed to deadly diseases like Rabies and FeLV, and vying with other animals for limited resources like food and shelter - these kitties are given a second chance at life in a loving home.

All Second Chance Kitties have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV/FeLV, treated for fleas, and dewormed. The adoption fee includes follow-up vaccines and deworming (if needed) through 16 weeks. Interested in adopting? View our adoptable cats and kittens on Petfinder or visit them at the PetSmart in Brunswick/Cooks Corner. Applications are required for all potential adopters.
