All of the cats listed in this album are available for adoption and currently reside in foster homes. Available pets are posted on our Facebook and PetFinder pages simultaneously, both accounts will be kept up to date. All cats and kittens come: spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV, and treated with appropriate flea treatment and dewormers. November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month!

We don't usually take in senior cats, but when a friend of our program moved into assisted living, we happily said yes to helping her beloved girl. Sunshine is 8 years old and has had one loving home in her life. We'd love to send her into her retirement home in time for the holidays!

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month!

We don't usually take in senior cats, but when a friend of our program moved into assisted living, we happily said yes to rehoming her beloved girl. Sunshine has not had ONE inquiry yet and we can't understand why.

We are excited to introduce y'all to our newest intake, an 8-year-old female named Sunshine! While we don't typically take in adult cats, we're happy to help when emergent situations arise. Sunshine's owner had to go into assisted living, meaning Sunshine needed a safe place to land. Luckily, this sweetheart is decompressing in a foster home with us and settling in nicely! Kitten Foster & Adoption Program

Second Chance Kitties are stray, barn, and (formerly) feral cats and kittens who are brought to us by kind-hearted members of the community. Instead of living a hard existence in the Maine wilderness - facing long and brutally cold winters, potentially exposed to deadly diseases like Rabies and FeLV, and vying with other animals for limited resources like food and shelter - these kitties are given a second chance at life in a loving home.

All Second Chance Kitties have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, tested for FIV/FeLV, treated for fleas, and dewormed. The adoption fee includes follow-up vaccines and deworming (if needed) through 16 weeks. Interested in adopting? View our adoptable cats and kittens on Petfinder or visit them at the PetSmart in Brunswick/Cooks Corner. Applications are required for all potential adopters. Email [email protected] for more information, or fill out an application found on our website. Applications are processed on a first come, first served basis.

Adoption Fees Kittens 8 weeks - 5 months: $185 Kittens 6 months - 1 year: $115 Cats over 1 year: $70
