Anyone who knows me knows i literally ask for nothing. But I have a burning desire in my heart right now I need fulfilled. Due to work info sensitivity I can't give exact details over social media but I have fallen deeply in love with a dog over the past four and a half months at my job and he NEEDS a loving forever home and I'm gonna trust the Lord and do my best to find him a home before he is out of my care. If anyone is serious about adopting an amazing five year old ball of love and light PLEASE contact me or message me here for more info so I can get this boy a home before the end of the year. I'd adopt him myself if I could because he reminds me of my boys Hayden and Jack combined in one dog...but life is not having it that I can have a dog at this point in life. All I can say is he has been a blessing to me personally and I KNOW and can say from the bottom of my heart he is a hidden gem who would bless anyone who loves dogs. He is the perfect combo of cuddles and affection, ball loving fetch crazy, and loyal. He has a total bill of health and is potty trained and knows basic training and recall. If I could do one last thing to end this year right it would be to make sure my best friend has someone to love him as much as I do.

This! When you are thinking of adopting...do your research on breeds and analyze your lifestyle to the dogs you are looking at to create a good bond and healthy environment. Our furry friends are after all our children. They deserve the right owner.

Unfortunately on January 23rd my 15yr old little man Jack Baily crossed the rainbow bridge to be with his best buddy Hayden (crossed over June 3rd 2020).

Keep in mind that training a dog is not about making a conformed robot...it is teaching simple etiquette around humans or adressing serious behavior issues to making a strong bond between man and k9. There is a basic guideline to follow in training yes, but sometimes you have to break those guidelines because every dogs situation, personality, and breed is unique. I observe a dog in their envirinment with their owner/family and get an idea of who they are as a dog and what they need help with. Often times people believe their dog is unfixable but thats not true! Some abuse cases can take months to years of work, but its never too late. Just as children, some a raised in good homes and excell in school and socially because they've had a loving home. Kids who have come from abusive parents often develope self esteem issues or act out abusively themselves and have low standards for themselves. Dogs are just like children...they are what you put into them. They can be anywhere from a few quick sessions and we'll rounded to needing months or years of patient guidance. Omega K9 is here no matter what that need may be. We gladly accept the challenge. We are not about proving we are some demi god of a dog wizard...but to watch a rough case become pawfect! Nothing is more gratifying than hearing back from happy owners saying their dog is a totally different animal...happy and more connected.

The handsome goofy boy who stole my heart so many years ago and helped me find my place in this big world...Hayden. He sadly passed on June 3rd due to aggressive digestive cancer that was untreatable. He is over the rainbow bridge playing in the big doggie field in the sky 💔

Just some of the faces that started my love for dog training...all the angels of Meade Canine Rescue back in the New Preston days. I graduated high school young, single, and working full time but no college or friends to take up my nights and weekends. I heard of a local rescue always in need of help so I decided why not do some good and check it out? Ive always been a pet owner and life long animal lover so I dove in head first and the dog rescue world became my reason to live and smile every day. I adopted my boy Hayden after volunteering there for months. Out of the 100 or so dogs that came through that reacue in my time there, Hayden stole my heart. He was a severely abused bait dog for fighting pits and had the highest stress level and fear id ever seen. I made it a point to walk him every day and work with him. Within a year after adopting him in November of 2011, he was happy, healthy, and loved meeting people every day. He was the most gentle old soul with the strength of a lion. He was my reason to go to ABC for dog training and make it my lifes mission. Hayden and Meade Canine were and still are my reason to get up every day knowing there is always a dog in need of love and guidance. I want to provide that to not only my own dogs but to the community around.
