FYI- Glenslope Boarding Kennel is closed for the winter now. You may call for recommendations for other kennel options during the winter if you need to board your fur baby. We will be reopening in early April and will announce it on this page. Have a good winter, Happy Thanksgiving and a Merry Christmas; stay warm & cozy and we’ll see you in the Spring!! 🦃 🎄⛄️. Oh, and a Happy New Year too! 🎊😄

Maunallen and a group of dedicated volunteers are doing wonderful work for these poor dogs and several others like them. If you can, a donation would be greatly appreciated 🧡💗💚🩵 Food, vet bills, kennel supplies, etc. all possible via donations, volunteers and love.

When the heat turns up, please be mindful of your pets. Make sure they have plenty of fresh water and access to shade if they’re outdoors ( dogs can get skin cancer too ). Remember that when temperatures get to 85+, pavement gets very hot. Don’t walk them in the heat of the day, wait until cooler evening temps.

Anyone who decides to get a dog needs to be responsible enough to teach that dog a few basic commands- SIT; DONT JUMP ON PEOPLE & STAY, at the very least! I would add teach them to walk on a leash without pulling. You must be willing to put in the time & work to have a pet that obeys commands and is pleasant to be around. Your dog will love you for it, they love the attention. If you’re not willing- don’t get a dog!!! 😉🐶
