The mission of The CENTER is to provide affordable therapeutic equine activities for individuals with special needs and at risk youth in Delaware and the surrounding area. The Center is committed to reducing barriers to participation in such activities. The CENTER at C-line Stables provides typical riding lessons for everyone. We also have camps throughout the summer and during school breaks.

Just dropped our first week’s food donation off to the Appoquinimink State Service Center. They were so appreciative, and thanked us so much for helping. If you know anyone that is in need, they can just walk in and grab what they need. No appointment necessary. We will be doing drop offs of everything donated every Friday. Thank you to everyone that donated this week.

Our Halloween parents night out was a blast! Our friends enjoyed playing games and making Halloween crafts together. Next up, it was time for pizza and hot chocolate! The mini goats came in dressed in their Halloween best while everyone got ready to watch hotel Transylvania. We watched the movie and ate popcorn until it was time for parents to arrive. Thank you everyone for a fun and fantastic night! Be on the lookout for future events on our page.

We have some new faces on the farm. We are fostering 3 cows. Their names are Hazel (black cow), Daisy (brown cow) and Carl (Hazel’s baby). Please don’t try to feed them, they are on a strict feeding schedule and are looking better already in the short 24 hrs they have been here.

We are fostering them through Cecil County Animal Services. I will put their link in the comments if anyone would like to make a donation to them to help cover the cost of all of their veterinary care and feed.

Final day of LF #5! We wore our little campers out. Maya fell asleep on the table for a bit. We cleaned the bunny cage out today. Then it was off to water our flowers. They each took home some flower seeds from those flowers. They pulled the flower heads and put them out to dry on Tuesday. They can plant them in the spring. We painted with the critters today. I should do that on Mondays and let them dry at the farm before they take them home. We never get to see the finished product out of the bags and dry. We hope they had a great week and we will see you next summer!
