Noelle and Cookie Dough headed to Colonial Classic this past weekend! They landed 9th in one of their Novice Eq classes out of 38 very competitive riders! She has worked hard all season to earn her spot this year. I'm so proud of them and this is part of why I love doing this!! 🐴💗

We headed to Fair Hill International for their last starter trial this year yesterday afternoon and came home with lots of goodies! Liana and Breeze ended with 1st place in their Elementary Division (this is only their second starter ever!) Suzy and I ended the day in 2nd place, TIP Champion, and ended the series with Reserve Champion for the Elementary Division! So proud of Liana and Breeze and of course cannot thank my phenomenal fire breathing dragon, Suzy 💗

A weekend full of ribbons, started with Noelle and Cookie Dough at Making Strides Show #5 including Dover Saddlery Jumper Classics on Saturday doing a fabulous job working hard for Colonial Classic! Sunday, we headed over to Hand Made Luck Stables for show #2. All of the kids and horses did a great job and pinned in all of their classes! Even our newest Tiny Trot, Penelope, earned her very first blue ribbon today with Tiptoes! So proud of these girls today! Of course we cannot forget the great show moms (and dads) that help make show days great. As always, thank Michelle King for hosting another wonderful show for these kids to enjoy 💗

Sunny Meadows Stables LLC is officially reopening for full care horse board and will be accepting new boarders starting September 1st for three well mannered geldings. We believe in as much turnout as possible for our horses. All horses are turned out 24/7 and are provided a run in shed and/or stall during inclement weather conditions. Horses are all fed a forage based diet vs grain (every horse here has excelled on this diet, even the hard keepers). We also specialize in senior horse care. Full care board offers the following:

Twice daily feedings
Timothy/Orchard/Grass hay mix in pastures
Grass riding arena with jumps
60' round pen
Blanketing as needed
Small trail loop
Horse trailer parking
18 stall barn
4 stall shed row
And much more to come!

We welcome all ages and disciplines and have a fantastic group of adults and kids to ride with here! We range from pleasure/trail riders, eventers, and hunt seat/equitation riders. Not a day goes by that I wish things were different and she could still be here. Her heart and soul would have lived forever, but her body could not. It's crazy to think four years have already passed since we said our final goodbyes. I hope wherever she is now, she is running free of pain and I'm sure still finding a way to get herself into trouble 😆 Oh the things she could have taught these kids 💗

Saturday most of our show team and Tiny Trots headed over to Blue Diamond Equestrian Center for our first summer schooling show. These girls work hard and it shows! Most of the girls moved up divisions this year and Tiny Trot, Penelope did her first show ever on Tiptoes. I even got to take Tiptoes around the hunter for the first time. I love that they don't mind me showing with them and I must be doing something right when your own student can beat you in the show ring 🙌🙌 I also cannot forget Noelle and Cookie Dough who went to Making Strides Show #5 including Dover Saddlery Jumper Classics on Saturday and completely rocked their division! Great job all around!

Unfortunately we lost our oldest goat, Simon, this afternoon. You're never really prepared for when it is their time. Simon was 17 yo when he passed. He lived quite a long life that most goats don't even come close to reaching. I'm glad I was able to make these last ten years of his life a place to call home. He's now at rest with his sisters Sammie and Susie ❤️

It was a hot 🥵 but successful day at St. Augustine Pony Club Summerfest! Liana and Breeze did their first starter ever today and ended with 5th in Elem Rider. Noelle and Cookie moved up to Elem Rider this year and placed 4th. Ellie also did her first starter ever on Tiptoes in Greenhorn Rider and placed 3rd. Not to mention Tiptoes is only post op 5 weeks since her bladder stone surgery! Stormy and I did our first ever show today and ended with 2nd place and Reserve TIP! We are also celebrating our first Gotcha Day today as well! Cannot thank After The Races enough for matching me with such a great mare 💗 so proud of everyone today!

Thank you to all of the moms, Emersyn, and Bri powering through the day and making sure horses were taken care of and everyone was staying hydrated.
