With a heavy heart we have to make this post. We did our best but unfortunately for our family we have to close the shop down, it has become increasingly hard to run and financially draining to keep open were very sorry for all of our customers that continued coming in for our services which we will still provide from our home at this time. Feeders, animals, and rescue services will still be provided but we will be leaving the shop this week. I'm sorry everyone!

Hello everyone! First we would like to thank everyone for continuing to come in and see us and support the store as well as my father's vision for the store! We have decided to change the store hours to 12-5 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sat but will be open until 7 on Wed. If you need anything or have any special requests please reach out and we I'll accommodate as best as we can!

Just wanted to update everyone that we are going to continue building PVC and Wood cages for the foreseeable future :)

Scalzes and tailzs is permanently closed. I truly appreciate all the well wishes everyone has given us but now is the time for us to come together as a family & just spend as much time as he has left with family & friends. Please continue sending thoughts & prayers our way but please respect our privacy. Thank you!

Sorry about being closed recently I will have to limit my hours to Saturdays from 1-4 & Sunday afternoon by appointment only. I have been recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer & am going through chemo, my wife is helping out at the store when she can. If you need something during the week we can try to arrange something.

The store will be closed Thanksgiving thru Saturday, but we will be open for buisness inside of Grand Traverse Mall. Our hours for the Mall event is 9am to 9pm Friday and Saturday. We will have reptiles, supplies and food. We will also have reptile theme tshirts for sale also.

We will close at 2pm tomorrow to participate in the YMCA Fall Festival from 4 to 6pm to hand out candy. We will also be bringing some reptiles for people to hold.
