Mark your calendar! TCAP will host a Free Fix Day on Wednesday, November 27. This is our 11th and Final Free Fix Day of 2024 due to the Christmas holiday!

During our Free Fix days, TCAP offers FREE sterilization and rabies vaccines for feral and community cats. This event will take place at six TCAP clinics: Arlington, Burleson, Denton, Garland, Hurst, and Weatherford! 75 cats will be seen at each location on a first-come, first-served basis.

There’s no limit on the number of cats per caregiver, and no appointment is required. Cats must arrive in individual live traps or pet carriers, and all cats will receive an ear tip.

Each cat accepted will receive a voucher for a free spay/neuter for another cat at a future date. Trap One, Get One! You will be able to make an appointment for a free feral spay or neuter at a future date using the voucher you receive. This voucher also includes a rabies vaccine.

Please stay in line if you are outside of the first 75! Our team will provide one voucher per cat present for sterilization vaccine for the next 75 cats! You will be able to make an appointment for a free feral spay or neuter and rabies vaccine at a future date using the voucher you receive. Only those already in line with cats will receive the voucher. The line cuts off no later than 9 am!

Our total impact per location is 225 cats!

Important Notes:
*Any additional fees for in-heat, cryptorchid, or pregnancy procedures will be covered by TCAP
*Caretakers will be responsible for any additional elective services such as vaccines, pain medication, or viral testing at the time of service
*Cats must be presented in live traps or pet carriers
Thank you for being a vital part of our community effort. We’re excited to continue supporting you and the feral and community cats in your care!

This horse was seen for a reaction after the owner injected Banamine (flunixin) into the neck muscle. In rare instances, such as this one, clostridial or other infections can occur at the injection site. These infections can be fatal. DR HAYES STRONGLY ADVISES BANAMINE BE GIVEN ORALLY OR IV ONLY.

💥‼️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCMENTS‼️💥

Right now, as a solo, mobile only, mixed animal practitioner, I have more than I can handle with the current client/patient load, office work/rx requests/paperwork, etc. & need to focus on catching up for the clients I already serve. Quality over quantity veterinary care is important to me.

🩷I am also more than grateful for having the 'problem' of not being able to keep up & cannot thank every client enough for making my mobile veterinary business a success! Thankful doesn't begin to cover it.💯👏🏻💖

*⚠️1.) Lubbers Veterinary will not be taking on any new clients through the end of the year. After the first of the year, I will more than likely start taking on new clients again.

*⚠️2.) Lubbers Veterinary will be scheduling NO further small animal appointments between now, 10/15/24 through 11/2/24. This does not apply to you if you have an already scheduled appointment.

*⚠️3.) Lubbers Veterinary will be scheduling NO further routine livestock appointments between now, 10/15/24 through 11/2/24. This does not apply to you if you have an already scheduled appointment.

*⚠️4.) TRUE livestock emergency appointments will be handled accordingly for already established livestock clients of Lubbers Veterinary.

There are multiple small animal options within an hour drive or less for urgent & emergency care; therefore, I will not be accommodating small animal urgent matters into my schedule at this time.

‼️****The best way to get on the schedule starting the week of 11/4/24 is to send an email to [email protected]****‼️

I can't reiterate this enough. I see overweight pets daily. While they are most certainly loved by their families, you are hurting your pets in the long run.

Today is - a day to bring awareness and educate about healthy lifestyles for our beloved pets.

Reaching and maintaining a healthy weight can reduce your pet’s risk of disease and injury and gives them the best chance of a long, healthy, quality life. Your veterinarian can help you determine whether your pet’s weight is healthy and can work with you to develop a weight management plan based on your pet’s individual needs. 🐶🐱Vaccine Clinic this SUNDAY (10/13) at City of Bonham Animal Shelter from 2 to 5pm! The weather is finally cooling off some - come out & enjoy the sunshine with your furry friends! 🍁☀️

PLEASE READ BELOW & YOU MOST LIKELY WILL FIND THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTION.😃

*1) Pricing is the same at each clinic. See the attached picture/flyer below.

*2) These are walk-up clinics, held outside. No appointments necessary.

*3) There will be a few canopies set up to cover the immediate area where the vaccine clinic is, however, lines do sometimes get long. If you are concerned that you or your pet will get hot, bring water for both & a bowl for them. We do not provide water bowls for dogs to drink out of -- this is an excellent way to spread disease from dog to dog with unknown animals drinking out of the same bowls. This would be like a group of toddlers all drinking out of the same sippy cup & spreading germs.

*4) There will be a limited amount of heartworm, flea & tick prevention at each of the clinics available for same day purchase. I will have Tri-Heart Plus, Credelio, Capstar & Revolution Plus for cats. However, with an up-to-date heartworm test on file, this will allow you to order up to a years' worth of heart worm or combo preventative online (through Chewy) for the animal that was seen at the vaccine clinic that day.

*5) If you are only wanting to purchase flea/tick preventative. Your pet must be present at the vaccine clinic that day so that we can obtain a correct weight on the animal, physically see the animal & fill out paperwork accordingly. (Unless we have seen them at a clinic in the last year). These are prescription products only sold through veterinarians. If your pet is not present, we will not sell you prevention.

*6) As a reminder, this IS NOT a time that I can see your sick or "hey I just need you to look at this" animals. I simply don't have the time on vaccine clinic days to do this before, during or after. This also takes away from the generosity of those who are letting me use their space for my vaccine clinic. Please email me or call to schedule a regular appointment. Right now, email is best.

*7) Lastly, we do not 'take names' or write your name down early if you arrive early. You are more than welcome to be courteous adults & start forming a line outside of the vaccine clinic area so that we can continue to set up during your early arrival. It's always a time crunch to get everything set up. We start at the time that is advertised, not any earlier.
