We lost one of ours and animals best friends last night Barbara Havlin from Sand Mtn. Over the years This woman dedicated her life to saving more dogs than I could count and even at her age with failing health she was still doing her best to make a difference in our community. She leaves behind 15 plus dogs that were in her care and we need help like never before. If you could find it in your heart to open up your home to foster just ( one ) we will furnish a crate, food, puppy pads, all vetting etc. We just need well bodied and able people with a little extra love to share temporarily. We have a wonderful program with much success finding these innocent souls homes but it just takes a little time to get them completely vetted and ready to place in a new home. Come on community!!!!
STEP UP and help make a difference in honor of Barbara. ❤️🐶❤️

Shep is a sweet girl that is needing a foster until she finds her furever home! She is up to date on vaccinations and she has been spayed. She loves other dogs, chicken nuggets, pup cups, and people! She walks great on a leash and is a very well behaved girl! You will fall in love with her! All supplies and food will be provided for the foster. All you have to do is open your home and heart to her for a short while until she finds her forever home. ❤️ 🐾

🐾 $150 to Change a Life 🐾

Did you know that for just $150, you can bring home a fully vetted, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped best friend? That’s right—our adoption fee covers all of this because we’re committed to setting every dog up for success.

But wait, there’s more.

Why Adopt a Shelter Dog?

Shelter dogs are often overlooked, but here’s the truth: they’re amazing. Each dog that comes through our doors is treated like family while they’re here. We do everything we can to help them find the perfect forever home.
• Testing & Socialization: We cat-test, dog-test, and even take dogs on car rides and meet-and-greets to learn as much as we can about their personalities.
• Training Foundations: We work on crate and leash training and give adopters tips to continue their progress at home.
• Support for Adopters: Need advice or have questions after adoption? We’re here to help, offering guidance and resources whenever you need it.
• Looking for a Purebred? Don’t forget that shelters often have purebred dogs too! Purebreds can and do find themselves homeless just as often, and many of them are waiting here for their second chance.

Adopt (or Shop) Responsibly

Whether you’re adopting from a shelter or purchasing from a responsible breeder, the goal is the same: finding a pet who fits your family and giving them the love and care they deserve.

So why not consider a shelter dog? For just $150, you’re not just saving a life—you’re gaining a lifelong companion who’s been loved, cared for, and prepared to thrive in their new home.

Come meet our amazing dogs today. They’re waiting to meet you! 🐕❤️

To say we are thankful is an understatement. Together with the help of Tyler Hughes generous donation and Lucks Rescue with a grant from ColdNose foundationand several pet owners we were able to Speuter 109 cats/dogs the month of November. Thanks to our drivers Scott and Lynn and Ronda for pushing to do 7 Speuter trips this month compared to their usual 4. A great big paw hug to Dr.Ronnie, Cassidy, Abby , Ester and company for going the extra mile to help make this happen. It takes several spokes to make a wheel roll and I’m sure proud to be in this wheel .

Please share this message. We know it's not always easy. Ask around for resources if you need to and help the population control 😺 Rescues and Shelters can only do so much!
