What a great day of showing! Lilah placed 1st in leadline- her first show… and her Birthday!!
I did a couple Western Pleasure and Ranch Horse classes. Placed 1st a couple times, 2nd and 3rd. I wish I had two more Peppy’s in my barn.

Rufus got a new blanket! He’s from the Midwest, so he’s used to the cold, but he’s getting older. I’ve never bought a blanket this big before… 84”!!

Ugh, the rain ruins my riding lessons. I need a covered arena!

The farrier and Dr. Weaver just finished up with Rufus’ hoof trim. The canker in his rear hoof is 90% gone and 100% gone in the other 3 hooves. The farrier was able to trim the sole and there was no bleeding! Dr. Weaver feels comfortable with not being here for his next trim in 6 weeks. I liked having her here to work closely with the farrier and just in case things went wrong. Yay Rufus! ❤️🐎
